As more and more Tier 3 NPCs appeared behind
Tier 3 NPCs in the Divine Realm's kingdoms and empires were regional powerhouses. In smaller cities, some even served as governors, commanding entire territories.
Yet here, over a thousand Tier 3 Class NPCs stood before them, including members of other races. It was simply unbelievable.
"Already this many?"
Bai Qingxue gazed at the knight order that had appeared, unable to hide the astonishment in her eyes.
She had long known that Shi Feng had invested a considerable amount of gold into the knight order, but gathering and cultivating such a large number of Tier 3 knights required an enormous amount of time.
In her estimation, an increase of two to three hundred Tier 3 knights over this period would have been impressive enough.
She never expected there to be over a thousand. That many Tier 3 NPCs far surpassed a Tier 3 player army in combat power. Forget about five or six thousand Tier 3 expert players — even ten thousand Tier 3 experts would be no match.
The reason was simple. NPCs of the same tier naturally had superior stats compared to players, they commanded far more magical skills, and the execution quality of those skills utterly outclassed players'. Moreover, the NPC combat intelligence had grown so advanced thanks to the Divine Realm's continuous updates that it was no longer inferior to Insight-level experts — some were even stronger.
Because of this, even after many expert players had advanced to Tier 3, they were still soundly beaten by Tier 3 NPCs.
And beyond those gaps, the biggest disparity was in weapons and equipment!
Gold-grade equipment above Level 100 was exceedingly rare for players, but the worst gear a Tier 3 NPC could have was a full set of Dark-Gold equipment. In terms of weapons and armor, they completely outstripped current players.
Not to mention Zero Wing's knight order before them — each one carried Epic-grade equipment effects. Forget Insight-level Tier 3 experts; even top-tier Tier 3 players would turn tail and run at the sight.
The appearance of over a thousand Tier 3 NPC knights forced the five or six thousand Tier 3 experts who had surrounded them to instinctively retreat. The executives of the various Dark World factions wore grim expressions, each staring at Shi Feng with undisguised disbelief.
They never imagined Zero Wing's strength would be this terrifying!
Their earlier intelligence had indicated nearly six hundred Tier 3 NPC guards, which was already giving the Dark World's major factions major headaches. Their only option for taking
Now the number of Tier 3 NPCs had doubled, and on top of that came five Crimson Dragon Flying Fortresses — what chance did they even have?!
"So this is why he so readily gave up that seventy percent of the resource zones," the female knight from Dark Rhapsody murmured, staring at Shi Feng as a flash of realization crossed her eyes.
They had previously thought Zero Wing had gone mad, throwing away vast resource-rich territories and allowing the Dark World's factions and players to compete even more fiercely for what remained. Now it was clear they had been dead wrong.
With this kind of military power, there was virtually no Dark World faction or Dark player who would dare contest Zero Wing for that remaining thirty percent of the resource zones. Instead, the competition would intensify among the factions over their own seventy percent — after all, Dark Rhapsody's influence was primarily within the Dark World, and beyond it, their ability to suppress Dark players diminished greatly.
When you can't bite into Zero Wing's thirty percent, making a play for the remaining seventy percent was the most natural course of action.
