"An airship?!"
The people of the Divine Intent Tribe on the scene saw the massive Crimson Dragon Airship hovering above the ground, and every last one of them nearly dropped their jaws. That included Vice Commander Macafrey and the other guild leaders—none were exempt.
The Crimson Dragon Airship was simply too enormous. Those massive flying mounts looked like children's toys in comparison.
"Is this the rumored airship?"
Macafrey stared at the deep-red vessel in disbelief—entirely composed of steel, its hull engraved with all manner of gleaming magic runes and magical formations. The magical aura it exuded was nothing short of intoxicating.
Though the higher-ups of the Divine Intent Tribe had long received intelligence that Zero Wing possessed an airship—a supreme-tier weapon of war for aerial dominance—actually seeing one with their own eyes was still breathtaking.
What player army?
What monster army?
Before this steel colossus, both felt insignificantly small.
Meanwhile, at a distance, the Free Adventuring Party and the others fighting near the Star Bastion were also frozen in shock. Some Tier 3 experts even forgot to block a Great Lord-tier monster's attack, only to be sent flying over ten yards through the air, slamming into a large tree before they snapped back to their senses.
"What the hell is that?"
"No way—you can't be serious!"
The adventurers stared at the Crimson Dragon Airship in the distance, overwhelmed by suffocation and terror. Those who had been so confident before, brushing off the Silver Lion Legion, were now visibly shaken.
"Boss, what do we do? These people are absolute beasts. We've only got five hundred men, and they didn't even say a word—just pulled that thing out to intimidate us." A cold-faced man gripping a greatsword and wearing dark-gray leather armor cursed as he glared at the Crimson Dragon Airship.
Against such a steel behemoth, the weapons in their hands were a complete joke.
It was like showing up with sticks while the other side had tanks and fighter jets. The question wasn't whether they could fight—it was that they weren't even on the same level.
The stocky man serving as the adventuring party's leader wore a grave expression.
If he were facing dozens of Tier 3 class experts, he would still have the courage to fight—and even the confidence that he could escape if things went south. But now, he had no confidence at all.
Anyone who had lived for an extended period in a major NPC city knew what an airship was.
They had never seen its destructive power firsthand, but a moment's thought made it terrifyingly clear. An airship could fire magic cannons freely from midair, and even the weakest magic cannon packed Tier 3 peak-level power—wide-area AoE magic at that. For players who couldn't fly, they were nothing but sitting ducks.
It could fire horizontally, fire vertically—and they wouldn't even have a chance to flee...
Just as the entire adventuring party was thrown into panic, Water Rose and the others on the distant hill had already boarded the Crimson Dragon Airship under the watchful eyes of the Divine Intent Tribe.
"Vice Commander Macafrey, we'll open a gap in the wall as quickly as possible. I'd like your forces to set up a defensive line beneath the Crimson Dragon Airship—clearing the monsters rushing in while helping us fend off the flying creatures coming from the Bastion," Shi Feng said calmly to the still-stunned Macafrey.
For assaulting a bastion, any other faction would be forced to attack through the main gate. But for him, with the Crimson Dragon Airship at his disposal, breaching from the front gate or over the wall made no difference.
Only after Shi Feng spoke did Macafrey finally snap out of it.
"Guild Master Black Flame, you're really going to attack the Bastion wall directly? That wall has been passed down since antiquity—its defense is incomparable to any modern bastion's walls. Even an airship would have extreme difficulty destroying it," Macafrey said, managing with great effort to tear his gaze away from the Crimson Dragon Airship and focus on Shi Feng, trying to dissuade him.
If before he had been dismissive of the idea that Shi Feng could take the Star Bastion, he was now inclined to believe it.
After all, the hardest part of capturing a bastion was breaking open a breach. Without creating a breach to enter through, the very notion of capturing a bastion was moot.
And the reason breaches in major bastions were so hard to create was that their structures possessed automatic repair capabilities. If you didn't break through before the repairs kicked in, everything was for nothing—let alone the fact that after breaking through, you still had to clear out the horde of monsters inside.
