"What's he doing here?" Shi Feng looked at Lu Xingluo in surprise.
Lu Xingluo was a spoiled rich kid. Before setting foot in the Divine Realm, he probably didn't even know which super-guilds existed in the virtual gaming world, let alone have any connections with them — much less know any of their Guild Leaders personally.
It was hard to imagine how Lu Xingluo could possibly know Li Hen.
Li Hen was the sort of figure who was rarely seen or heard. Even the Guild Leaders of major super-guilds found it difficult to arrange a meeting with him, let alone someone like Lu Xingluo.
Lu Xingluo might be the heir to the Star Navigation Conglomerate, but he held very little real power. Setting aside the fact that Li Hen's super-guild was itself a conglomerate backed by several major financial groups with their full support — the person who truly wielded authority was simply incomparable to Lu Xingluo.
The two were on entirely different levels. It was like the gap between an adult and a child. No matter how lavishly that child was dressed and how deep his background ran, he was still just a child.
Moreover, the Star Ring Guild had been developing around the borders of the Dark Night Empire, while the Thirteen Royal Courts operated in a remote corner of the continent. The two were separated by enormous distances and, in theory, should have had virtually no contact.
Yet here was Lu Xingluo, sitting in this room having a meeting with Li Hen. It was genuinely surprising.
The moment Shi Feng appeared, the previously calm atmosphere inside the private box turned tense. Lu Xingluo stared fixedly at Shi Feng, his gaze a mixture of shock, anger, and bewilderment at how Shi Feng had ended up in a place like this.
In his eyes, Shi Feng was nothing more than the Guild Leader of Zero Wing. Even if he was powerful, he was still just a slightly stronger ant — someone on a completely different level from himself.
Zero Wing was currently riding high only because of Stone Forest City, which gave it the audacity to challenge major powers. The guild's top players could be counted on one hand, and the guild's overall strength was negligible.
Once Stone Forest City's current advantage faded, Zero Wing would be nothing more than a grasshopper past autumn — unable to jump for long.
Yet here he was, appearing in a setting like this.
"Guild Leader Black Flame, please take a seat." When Li Hen saw Shi Feng walk in, a flicker of surprise crossed his eyes, but he quickly composed himself and greeted him cordially.
"What's going on here?" Lu Xingluo looked at Li Hen, who had taken the initiative to acknowledge Shi Feng, his mind full of confusion.
He had been chatting with Li Hen, but Li Hen's attitude toward him had been lukewarm at best. Yet toward Shi Feng, there was a hint of genuine goodwill.
"Guild Leader Li Hen, I'm not sure what you wanted to see me about?" Shi Feng nodded and got straight to the point.
"Guild Leader Black Flame is indeed as straightforward as Yi Yun described." Li Hen smiled and gestured toward the window, pointing out at Dragon Heart City below. "I wonder — what does Guild Leader Black Flame think of Dragon Heart City?"
"A treasure trove of rarities and a holy ground for trade," Shi Feng replied after a moment's thought.
In his previous life, Dragon Heart City had been one of the Divine Realm's most premier commercial cities — a place where every inch of land was worth its weight in gold. It was one of the primary gathering spots for sea-faring players after reaching third-tier Class, far more prosperous than even resource-rich locations like Thunder Island.
More importantly, Dragon Heart City was the only large free NPC city in the Sea of Death.
This free city was nothing like the NPC cities on the mainland. Here, players could actually purchase the city and rule it as their own. Every building in Dragon Heart City — unlike NPC cities on land — could be bought for the right price, including the Auction House, the City Lord's Manor, the Teleportation Temple, and more. On top of that, buyers could construct whatever they wished on the purchased land, and the resulting buildings would be superior to those in advanced cities. Even a Teleportation Temple could be built, as long as one could afford it.
And Dragon Heart City also housed the Divine Realm's famous World Tower.
