"Find them! You have to find out who they are!"
"As long as you find out who they are, figure out how they got this flying mount — at any cost!"
"They appeared near Ice Prison Island, so they can't be far from there. Notify everyone in the area immediately. Report the moment they're spotted!"
……
The moment the various superpowers learned about the flying mount, they immediately dispatched massive numbers of people to investigate at full intensity. Their frenzy over flying mounts was so intense that the Sea of Death, which had been relatively tranquil, suddenly became bustling with activity.
While the major powers were frantically searching everywhere, Sand Bones — who had escaped from the Thunder God Palace — also received this news.
"Isn't this the monster that Black Flame summoned?" Staring at the Thunder Eagle in the image, Sand Bones felt it looked incredibly familiar and blurted out in shock, "This is actually a flying mount?"
No one understood the rarity and value of a flying mount better than top-tier experts like them.
It wasn't that they lacked the strength — most of the time, it was simply that they were too far from resource-rich locations to enter and explore them. If they had a flying mount, the places they could reach would increase dramatically, the resources they could gather would be several times what they currently obtained, and their leveling speed would go without saying.
In the Divine Realm, the higher a player's level, the slower the progression. A huge reason for this was the time wasted traveling, because the higher-level the area, the farther it was from teleportation points — to say nothing of those resource-rich maps. And building or relocating a town in a remote location was far easier said than done.
"Boss Sand Bones, why don't we make this information public right now? If the major superpowers find out that the flying mount belongs to Black Flame, even if we don't lift a finger for revenge, the superpowers won't let him off the hook," the Level 77 Assassin beside him suggested.
Flying mounts hadn't been a thing before, so it was one matter — but now that every major power knew they existed, their reaction would be nothing short of insane. The gap between having a flying mount and not having one meant an entirely different level of speed when it came to both leveling and acquiring resources, a disparity far greater than that between land mounts.
"Absolutely not! We can't tell a soul about this!" Sand Bones shook his head and let out a cold laugh. "This is our golden opportunity."
"Golden opportunity?" The Level 77 Assassin was confused.
"Since the Thunder Eagle is a flying mount, that means it's an ordinary item with nothing special about it. Yet Black Flame was able to summon it inside the Mystic Thunder Ruins. The Mystic Thunder Ruins prohibits the use of any items — unless those items were obtained within the ruins themselves. And Black Flame didn't summon the Thunder Eagle before entering the side hall, which means he must have obtained it from the side hall. Otherwise, there would have been no need to flee into the side hall — he could have just summoned the Thunder Eagle, and we wouldn't have been able to do a thing about it," Sand Bones explained with a grin. "Doesn't that tell you something?"
"So Black Flame got the flying mount from the side hall!" The Level 77 Assassin's eyes lit up.
"Exactly. Right now, none of the other powers know this, and the few superpowers inside the Mystic Thunder Ruins are completely cut off from the outside world. They probably still have no idea that the Thunder Eagle Black Flame summoned earlier is a flying mount." Sand Bones sneered. "This Black Flame may have ruined Big Brother Di Tian's plans, but he's also shown us where flying mounts come from. The thing we need to do most right now is seize the side hall before any of the other powers — and then we can deal with Black Flame and Lun Hui at our leisure!"
He had personally witnessed the Thunder Eagle's power. Even twelve Tier 3 Spirit Warriors had been completely thrashed by it. If they could get their hands on a few, they could dominate the entire Divine Realm — the only exception being when facing Legendary monsters.
For other superpowers, entering the Mystic Thunder Ruins was extremely difficult. But for the Seven Sins Flower, it was anything but.
Sand Bones immediately relayed this information to Di Tian.
Meanwhile, not far outside Dragon Heart Island, Shi Feng had the Thunder Eagle hover in midair and switched to Yi Yun's Bronze Rank speedboat. The Thunder Eagle was simply far too eye-catching — flying directly into Dragon Heart Island would inevitably attract a great deal of trouble. After all, Dragon Heart Island was currently the gathering place for every major superpower; it was nothing like other locations.
Seated on the Bronze Rank speedboat, Yi Yun watched the Thunder Eagle vanish and felt a faint pang of regret at not being able to ride it a little longer.
Because riding a flying mount felt absolutely wonderful. The scenery in the sky was refreshing enough on its own, but the speed was simply mind-blowing.
