The moment he realized that the Lord of the Fire Meteor was in the middle of an evolution, Shi Feng immediately gathered everyone and launched an all-out assault on the Lord.
He sent Ke Le, who was equipped with the Crown of the Flame Demon, charging in at the forefront, while Banjiu and Ye Wumian provided support from the flanks. The rest of the team circled around to the Lord of the Fire Meteor's sides, waiting for the right moment to pour in damage.
Everyone was completely bewildered by this order, but the Starfall Secret Realm offered no escape. If they couldn't kill the Lord of the Fire Meteor, the only way out was to die and be forcibly ejected. Since Shi Feng had given the command, they had no choice but to push forward.
"Go!" Once Shi Feng saw that everyone was in position, he gave the signal.
Ke Le immediately charged toward the place where the Lord of the Fire Meteor lay dormant. Even though lava flowed across the ground, to Ke Le—who wore the Crown of the Flame Demon—it was no different from seawater. In a matter of seconds, he had closed the distance to the Lord of the Fire Meteor and swung his blade straight at it.
-13,745!
A damage figure exceeding ten thousand popped up. The Lord of the Fire Meteor's eyes snapped open, blazing with blinding golden light, and it let out a thunderous roar.
Everyone secretly marveled at the sight.
Normally, a boss would attack the moment a player got within a certain range. Yet here, the Lord of the Fire Meteor only acted after taking damage from Ke Le. Something was clearly off.
After the roar, the aura radiating from the Lord of the Fire Meteor began climbing rapidly. The divine inscriptions flowing across its body started glowing brighter, growing more and more complete.
"As expected—it's in the middle of evolving." Shi Feng couldn't help but grin at the sight. "Strike while it's down! Everyone, go all out! Watch out for the fire rain and the lava spurting from the ground, and do not—under any circumstances—try to kill the lava minions! Just lure them away to one side!"
In the Divine Realm, monsters were at their weakest during an evolution. However, at critical moments, a monster could choose to force through the evolution in a short period of time. Although doing so came at an enormous cost afterward, once the evolution was complete, dealing with the creature would become nearly impossible.
The Lord of the Fire Meteor was doing exactly that.
Seeing this, Shi Feng immediately activated the Ring of Gospel, spending seven thousand magic crystals in one go to unlock both the Miniature World and the Ring of Radiance, further weakening the Lord of the Fire Meteor while boosting everyone's attributes.
The moment the Miniature World deployed, the power of the world pressed in on the Lord of the Fire Meteor from every direction. But the Lord was still an Ancient Demon after all, and it possessed considerable resistance to the world's pressure—its attributes only dropped by 20%. Its sheer power was simply incomparable to any ordinary Legendary monster.
Everyone swallowed hard at the sight.
The Lord of the Fire Meteor drove its fist into the shield Ke Le held high. Ke Le was sent sliding back three or four steps, losing over eighty thousand hit points in a single blow…
"Is that all?" Ke Le stared at the damage he had taken, surprised.
His total health pool was over two hundred and forty thousand. Taking roughly eighty thousand in one hit was well within his tolerance—though the healing pressure would be considerable.
"Nobody hold back! Activate your burst modes and push maximum damage! We have to take it down before the boss finishes evolving!"
Shi Feng glanced at the divine inscriptions on the Lord of the Fire Meteor and saw they were steadily becoming more complete. At this rate, it would need less than twenty minutes to finish the evolution. If they tried to wear it down normally, there simply wouldn't be enough time. Right now, every second counted. Once the evolution was complete, even if the Lord of the Fire Meteor were left with just 1% of its health, it could still wipe them all out effortlessly.
At those words, every member stopped holding back and activated their burst modes. Their stats skyrocketed and their damage multiplied—each person was now dealing forty to fifty thousand per hit. Bai Qingxue, Huo Wu, and Zhao Yueru, in particular, were each dealing over a hundred thousand damage per strike.
Shi Feng himself was no exception. He activated the Power of the Heavenly Dragon and unleashed both Shadow of Twilight and Twilight of the Gods. Eight solid clones attacked in unison, each one producing seventy to eighty thousand in damage. From time to time, a critical hit would land for over a hundred thousand. The sheer output was so devastating that everyone felt it bordered on insanity.
If they were facing not a high-defense, high-HP Legendary boss, but a Level 75 Grand Lord, Shi Feng probably wouldn't need even a minute to finish it off.
In barely ten minutes, the Lord of the Fire Meteor's health had dropped to 30%…
