When ten Perfection-realm experts were killed in the blink of an eye, leaving the crowd deeply shaken by the sight, Qi Guang and his group moved into action immediately.
In an instant, more than a dozen figures shot into the advancing Star Ring members, launching their assault without hesitation.
Qi Guang took the lead. A single use of Wind Chasing Sword brought him face-to-face with the three front-line tanks and four melee fighters. He swung his sword at their sturdy shields.

Four streaks of sword light spread outward in an instant. Although the Star Ring players managed to fully block the expanding sword light, the sheer impact of the Four Directions Slash forced them back several steps, each one exposing openings in their defenses.
Qi Guang immediately swung his twin swords once more.
Attack Fusion!
Two streaks of sword light stabbed simultaneously at a retreating Tier 2 tank. One strike knocked back the shielding shield, while the other pierced straight through the tank's armor, sending the tank's HP plummeting. Even before the rear healers could react, Qi Guang pressed his advantage, using his other longsword to unleash another Tier 2 skill — Light Splitting Sword.
The sword light suddenly split from one into six, instantly wiping out every last drop of the Tier 2 tank's remaining HP.
All of this seemed to happen in slow motion, yet from a distance, it looked as though Qi Guang had simply charged into the crowd — and in the blink of an eye, seven players were knocked back, one of them a tank, killed outright.
Qi Guang wasn't the only one. Mangu, Yijiu, and the others who had charged into the crowd performed much the same.
A full forty experts from the Star Ring Guild had lost more than ten of their number in the initial clash — over a quarter of their force. The two sides weren't even on the same level.
The remaining thirty or so Star Ring members were completely suppressed by Qi Guang and his group. Meanwhile, Crazy Tiger's fifty players, though locked in a chaotic melee with Feixin's group and holding a slight advantage, found the tide turning against them as Mu Yun and her reinforcements arrived.
"Vice Leader, they have too many people! If this keeps up, we'll be wiped out!" a Tier 2 Guardian Knight from Star Ring said urgently to Crazy Tiger.
If it were only Feixin and Mu Yun, that would be one thing. But Shi Feng's side was constantly picking off their people, and it was only a matter of time before the remaining thirty were taken out. If that happened and Shi Feng's group joined up with Feixin and Mu Yun to encircle them, they would be the ones in serious trouble.
"Retreat! Everyone, retreat!" Crazy Tiger's expression darkened, but he understood the consequences of continuing the fight. He shot a venomous glance toward Shi Feng in the distance. "I'll let you all live a little longer!"
Then Crazy Tiger turned and left without a moment's hesitation, and the Star Ring players scattered in all directions.
With Star Ring in retreat, Feixin and Mu Yun didn't send anyone to pursue.
The Star Ring Guild's main army was hidden not far from every side of Creek Moon Town. Chasing after the retreating forces would be nothing short of suicide. Moreover, their primary objective was to defend Creek Moon Town, not to engage the Star Ring Guild in open battle.
"Thank you for your help, Captain Yefeng. If you hadn't arrived in time, Crazy Tiger would have wiped us all out," Feixin said, walking up to Shi Feng with a complicated expression as she offered her thanks.
She had originally wanted to show Zero Wing the might of Hundred Blossoms Palace, but that had become a joke now.
The Black Cloud Legion under her command had set out with a full thousand members, but now only a little over a hundred remained. In contrast, Zero Wing hadn't lost a single person and had even brought Mu Yun and the others along.
