On the wide plains road, the appearance of Shi Feng and his group drew every pair of eyes — whether from the Black Cloud Legion members locked in fierce combat or from the top-tier expert Da Mo Kuang Hu himself.
Fei Xin, who was locked in a desperate struggle above all others, stared at Shi Feng and his companions, a wordless shock welling up inside her.
"How are you here?" Her face was filled with astonishment, so much so that she doubted her own eyes. "Did you somehow get past Xuanyuan Sansha's blockade?"
Because it should have been absolutely impossible for Shi Feng and his group to be here.
No matter how you looked at it, Xuanyuan Sansha on the other road was even more formidable than Da Mo Kuang Hu. Her side had suffered heavy losses along the way, yet Shi Feng's group hadn't lost a single person. They didn't look like they'd been through any fighting at all.
The only explanation she could think of was that they had bypassed the blockade entirely.
"A way to bypass it? We didn't actually find one. We fought our way through." Shi Feng shook his head.
"..." Fei Xin was rendered speechless.
She wanted to say that Shi Feng still had the mood to crack jokes, but before she could get another word out, a sudden commotion arose in the distance — a massive group of players was heading their way, several hundred strong.
As the players drew closer, everyone caught a clear look at who they were.
"No way..."
Fei Xin stared at the approaching group in disbelief.
Because among those players was none other than Mu Yun's team — the very ones who had been with Shi Feng.
If Shi Feng and his handful of companions could be explained away as having slipped past the blockade, Mu Yun's team of nearly a thousand players certainly could not have done the same.
What was most incredible was that Mu Yun's thousand-strong team had suffered virtually no losses.
"The Hundred Flowers Palace people?" Da Mo Kuang Hu snapped out of his stupor and looked at Mu Yun's group, his mind racing with confusion.
The entire Silent Gorge had been sealed off. Fei Xin's group should have been all of them. He couldn't understand where so many Hundred Flowers Palace players had suddenly appeared from.
"Mu Yun, how on earth did you get here?" Fei Xin couldn't help but ask in a hushed voice.
"How did we get here? We broke straight through the blockade, of course." Mu Yun looked at the bewildered Fei Xin and couldn't help but smile with a hint of pride.
She had originally been prepared for failure, never expecting that Shi Feng's team would be so powerful.
"Stop lying! There are only two blockade routes here — one guarded by Da Mo Kuang Hu, and the other by Xuanyuan Sansha. Your route was held by the even more troublesome Xuanyuan Sansha. How could you possibly break through and get here without any losses?" Fei Xin shot Mu Yun a skeptical look.
"I'm really not lying." Mu Yun pointed at Shi Feng and his group and smiled bitterly. "We owe it all to Zero Wing. If it hadn't been for their dozen-odd members fighting through the blockade, we couldn't have gotten here having lost only a few dozen people."
"You're telling me only Zero Wing's dozen or so people did the fighting, and your entire team just followed along?" Fei Xin blinked, then put on an expression that said "I'd believe that over my dead body," feeling that Mu Yun was laying it on a bit too thick just to give Zero Wing credit.
While Fei Xin and Mu Yun were exchanging words, Da Mo Kuang Hu had already sprung into action.
"More stragglers? Wait — your guild emblems aren't the Hundred Flowers Palace's." Da Mo Kuang Hu studied Shi Feng and his group, quickly spotting the six-winged emblem on them. He couldn't help but grin. "Well, since you all know each other, this makes it simple — you can all stay right here!"
With that, Da Mo Kuang Hu waved his hand.
"Go stop them first — don't let a single one escape!"
"Leave it to us, boss."
In an instant, a fifty-man second-class team that had been in the thick of the brawl lunged directly at Shi Feng and his group, their eyes gleaming with mockery as they sized up Shi Feng, Mu Yun, and the rest.
Fei Xin's people weren't even enough to whet their appetite. Now here came another big batch — just in time for them to have some real fun.
