In the grand and majestic guild hall, everyone was busy beyond measure over the matter of Glory Fort. Each person brimmed with killing intent, and some guild members had even organized themselves of their own accord, preparing to march on Glory Fort and raze it to the ground.
Meanwhile, in the guild leader's office at the headquarters, the higher-ups of Sin Domain had already gathered.
"Guild Leader, we've found out who it was. The person who killed Duan E is Ye Feng, the Honorary Elder of Zero Wing Guild!" A cold-looking man holding a silver staff and wearing purple-gold robes reported to the gaunt man seated on the guild leader's throne.
The gaunt man before them, though thin and frail like a withered tree, gave off the impression of a towering mountain. His overwhelming pressure was so great that some of the guild's higher-ups didn't dare lift their heads to look at him directly.
Regarding this gaunt man, the entire Sin Domain guild—from top to bottom—felt nothing but reverence and worship.
For he was the most powerful guild leader in the history of Sin Domain.
Fengyan Duxing!
A few years ago, Sin Domain hadn't been a first-rate guild—just a second-rate one. But after Fengyan Duxing became guild leader, the guild's development grew faster and stronger, until it had become a recognized first-rate power. After entering the Divine Realm, Sin Domain's growth had been even more rapid. Their strength climbed so quickly that it surpassed even those veteran first-rate guilds. Now they completely controlled the Violet Kingdom—something that many first-rate and even super first-rate guilds could not achieve.
"Ye Feng of Zero Wing, is it?" A slight smile curled the corner of Fengyan Duxing's lips. "How interesting. We were just about to make a move on Witch Hill, and already someone from Zero Wing has shown up in our Violet Kingdom."
"Guild Leader, this Ye Feng from Zero Wing is far too arrogant! He actually dared to kill Duan E on our turf—he's slapping us right in the face!" A burly, dark-skinned Berserker as solid as a bull spoke with fury. "Let me take a team and take out this Ye Feng! Let Zero Wing know that just because they barely managed to withstand one wave of Miracles' assault doesn't mean they can act high and mighty before Sin Domain!"
"Guild Leader, Iron Fang is right! That Ye Feng came to our territory alone and even killed Duan E. If we don't deal with him, Sin Domain will become the laughingstock of the entire Violet Kingdom—everyone will think we're afraid of Zero Wing!"
The other higher-ups all voiced their agreement.
If Zero Wing had sent an army into the Violet Kingdom for an all-out battle, that would be one thing. But for Shi Feng to boldly appear in their territory alone—and moreover, to publicly declare in front of the countless players of the Violet Kingdom that if Sin Domain couldn't even handle him, they'd have no place in the Divine Realm—well, that was something else entirely.
"Very well. Iron Fang, you and the others can go take care of this." Fengyan Duxing nodded, feeling it necessary to teach Zero Wing a lesson. He then added, "But this Ye Feng is no pushover. To be safe, bring the Steel Puppet along."
The guild higher-ups present were all startled upon hearing this.
The Steel Puppet was a treasure that Sin Domain had obtained only with great difficulty. Their guild had lost over ten thousand people and expended untold numbers of Tier 3 magic scrolls to acquire it. Although the Steel Puppet couldn't summon a monster that fought on its own like a summoning scroll, when controlled by a player to fight other players, crushing them was as easy as squashing an ant.
Let alone dealing with Tier 2 class experts—even facing Tier 3 class experts now posed no problem whatsoever.
They were only going up against a single expert player from Zero Wing. Mobilizing such power was really making a mountain out of a molehill.
Shi Feng was currently under the Death Mark, so Sin Domain had a clear read on his movements. All they needed to do was send Iron Fang and the others with magic scrolls to surround and kill Shi Feng. There was absolutely no need to deploy the Steel Puppet.
"The Steel Puppet?" Iron Fang's face lit up with delight. "Leave it to me! I guarantee that Ye Feng will regret ever setting foot in the Violet Kingdom!"
Then Iron Fang, one of Sin Domain's Seven Great Experts, left the guild leader's office and began organizing a team to head for Glory Fort.
On the other side, Shi Feng himself had arrived at Glory Fort's city hall.
Although Glory Fort was no treasure trove of resources, after seeing the situation here, Shi Feng felt it was an excellent place to make money and recruit expert players.
The monsters around Glory Fort were nothing special, but the area produced a rare herb—Phantom Flower—the primary ingredient for Low-Level Enhancement Potions. This herb was scarce even in the Violet Kingdom, which was known for its abundant herbs, and was virtually nonexistent in the Star Moon Kingdom. Few other kingdoms produced Phantom Flowers either, which was exactly why Liang Xia had come here.
Due to the explosive demand for Low-Level Enhancement Potions, Phantom Flowers had become incredibly valuable, their price soaring from an initial three silver coins per flower to as high as fifteen silver coins.
Right now, the number of Low-Level Enhancement Potion recipes in the Divine Realm could be counted on one hand, and not many players needed to venture to higher-level areas for leveling, keeping market demand relatively low. However, as players' levels continued to rise, the experience required grew ever greater, leveling became increasingly difficult, and fighting monsters above one's level became essential.
Because of this, Low-Level Enhancement Potions suddenly became all the rage. Every major power wanted to get their hands on them to rapidly level up their guild's experts and elite members, and Phantom Flowers quickly became scarce.
Although he didn't currently have the recipe for Low-Level Enhancement Potions, he could stockpile Phantom Flowers early. After all, you couldn't make Low-Level Enhancement Potions without them, and recipes would only become more common over time.
On top of that, Sin Domain's dominance forced many of the Violet Kingdom's elites and experts to venture into higher-level areas for growth, and Glory Fort became the preferred destination for these players. A large concentration of elite and expert players had gathered here, making it much easier to pick out top talent.
"Respected Bronze Legacy Holder, is there anything I can help you with?" a senior steward in the city hall asked upon seeing Shi Feng enter.
"I'd like to purchase two plots of land!" Shi Feng said directly.
"Of course. Here is a map of all available plots in the town." The senior steward promptly produced a map of Glory Fort for Shi Feng to examine.
Glory Fort wasn't particularly large—at best, it was the equivalent of a mid-level town—and the total number of available plots was quite limited. Just as Shi Feng was about to select two central plots along the main street, he suddenly noticed a deep blue mark on the map the senior steward had provided, which was clearly distinct from the light blue marks of the other plots.
"How is this possible? There's a premium plot here?" Shi Feng stared at the deep blue plot and was momentarily stunned.
