Even though everyone present was a Tier 2 expert, after the battle ended some players couldn't help but collapse onto the ground, grateful that the Void Magic Snake had been the first to give out. Otherwise, with their stamina completely spent, not a single one of them would have survived.
Of the fewer than three hundred people remaining, everyone was not only mentally exhausted, but their weapons and equipment had also consumed a massive amount of durability. If the fight had continued, the durability on their gear would have been completely depleted. On top of that, the healers' mana pools had hit rock bottom—they wouldn't have been able to hold out for even a few more minutes.
With the death of the Void Magic Snake, some players who had been close to leveling up instantly jumped from level 57 to level 58 thanks to the massive experience the boss awarded. Even Shi Feng, a level 69 player, saw his experience bar surge by a significant amount.
But compared to the experience everyone had gained, it was the loot from the Void Magic Snake's death that truly captivated them.

By the time the healers had revived every dead player present, Shi Feng had only just finished cataloging every last item.
The world-class boss Void Magic Snake had dropped a total of 413 items, of which 267 were precious rare materials. These rare materials were nothing like what could be found in the outside world—among them were as many as 17 Sub-Legendary materials.
For instance, the Void Magic Snake's Void Scales—natural armor plating far superior to High-grade Magic Armor Plates. Equipping just one would reduce incoming damage by 10% and boost Constitution by 5%, with base stats increasing by 8%. Each player could only equip one, but the boost was already enormous, especially for main tanks—the damage reduction and Constitution increase were far more valuable than raw stat gains.
This time, a total of 11 Void Scales had dropped. Additionally, there were 4 Sub-Legendary materials called Void Fangs, which could be used to enhance weapons. Using one would grant the weapon a Void Rending effect, increasing damage dealt by 10% while also ignoring one tier of defense.
Finally, there were two vials of Void Blood, each containing one hundred drops. Void Blood was not only a key ingredient for opening the Gate to the Other World, but also the primary material for crafting Void Magic Wine. Drinking Void Magic Wine permanently increased all attributes by 20 points and boosted Constitution by a permanent 5%.
On the market, a single vial of Void Magic Wine was valued at over six hundred gold—and even at that price it was virtually impossible to buy, as all the major guilds had cornered the supply.
As for the recipe for Void Magic Wine, the Void Magic Snake had dropped that as well.
Among the remaining 146 items was the Void Magic Wine recipe, which required a Master-level chef to craft.
Of those 146 items, 35 were level 55 to 60 Gold-grade weapons and equipment. Among them was the Elementalist's level 60 Gold-grade set, Heart of Mana, as well as the Shield Warrior's level 60 Gold-grade set, Earth Guardian—though both sets were incomplete, with only four pieces each. The rest were individual pieces.
As for level 55 to 60 Dark Gold weapons and equipment, a total of 16 pieces had dropped. Among them was the spellcaster DPS's level 60 Dark Gold set, Mana Storm—though only five pieces had fallen, three short of the full eight-piece set. The rest were also individual pieces, the most valuable being the level 60 Dark Gold shield, Magic Snake Round Shield.
While all these Gold-grade and Dark Gold weapons and equipment were currently top-tier, they were quite ordinary compared to the other drops from the Void Magic Snake.
Among the weapon drops, three items were of Epic tier, and one of those was a Legendary-tier fragment. In other words, the combined value of all the Gold-grade and Dark Gold weapons and equipment that had dropped previously didn't come close to matching these four items.
The three Epic items were the Void Vestments, the Staff of Sacred Words, and the Void Gauntlets. The Void Vestments and Void Gauntlets were a genuine Epic-tier set—just completing the two-piece set bonus would increase mana and Constitution by 20%, making them absolutely god-tier equipment for any spellcaster. After all, for any magic-based class, mana was a second life.
The Staff of Sacred Words was also a supreme spellcaster weapon—it allowed magic with a casting time of one second or less to be used instantly without chanting or channeling, while also boosting magic skill completion by 4%.
But the value of these three Epic items paled in comparison to the final one—a Legendary-tier fragment.
