"How can Domain Magic be this powerful?" Black Shark watched his declining stats, a wave of shock crashing through him.
His attributes had dropped by at least twenty percent, and that was saying something. Not only had his movement speed and reaction time both slowed noticeably, but what was even more incredible was that the Dark Domain he was using couldn't suppress the Domain Magic at all.
The Dark Domain was supposed to be superior to Domain Magic — the Domain created its own world, making it impossible for a mere Domain to compete.
Yet now it had not only failed to suppress anything, it had actually caused their stats to drop by over twenty percent.
What Black Shark didn't know was that the Domain Magic Shi Feng had brought was somewhat special. It belonged to the category of Weather Magic — the kind that could alter the climate of an area. Although it was technically still Domain Magic, its effects were far closer to those of a true Domain. On top of that, Frost Hell itself was a Tier 4 Domain Magic, which was why it produced such impressive results.
Thanks to Frost Hell, both the Dark Hunters and Shadow Claw had suffered drastic reductions in strength. While the three-hundred-plus transformed players were still considerably more powerful than before thanks to the Dark Domain, they no longer held a significant advantage over the main forces of the three major guilds — because the non-transformed players' stats had taken a massive hit.
Bu Mie Zhan Xin, Feng Qianyu, and the others couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
They had come to help Zero Wing clear a team dungeon, and none of them had brought any particularly powerful items or tools — especially Domain Magic scrolls, which were critical for team battles. Those were items that only large guilds would bring out for major team fights or important boss raids.
Fortunately, Shi Feng had brought a Domain Magic scroll this time. Otherwise, the outcome would have been unthinkable.
"Black Shark! Are you still planning to fight on? Your trump card has been neutralized now, and our combat strength is roughly equal. If this drags on to the end, there's no telling who'll win." Bu Mie Zhan Xin called out to Black Shark.
"I did underestimate you a bit, but did you think I only had one trump card?" Black Shark sneered. "I'd originally planned to save this for a more fitting stage, but I suppose I'll let you experience it ahead of time."
Immediately, every Dark Hunters member who hadn't transformed pulled a deep-blue potion from their inventory and chugged it in one gulp. Excited roars erupted from their throats.
Their skin turned deep blue. Hard scales sprouted all over their bodies, and their eyes became bestial. If they could even still be called players anymore — they looked more like dragonmen.
Watching player after player transform into dragonmen, the members of Zero Wing, Dragon Phoenix Pavilion, and Indomitable War Spirit were all stunned speechless.
They couldn't believe what they were seeing!
"What's going on? They—" Feng Qianyu watched as players grew tails one after another, her heart filled with indescribable shock.
Even as the leader of Dragon Phoenix Pavilion, this was something she had never encountered before.
The dragonmen gave off an aura that was truly beast-like. Their entire bodies radiated a wild, violent energy, and beyond the stat boost, there seemed to be a fundamental gap in the very level of their existence.
Going from player to monster — such a transformation could be explained by a Dark Job Change. Dark players had their own paths, after all. But to turn a living player into a dragonman with a potion? No one had ever heard of such a thing.
"Everyone, charge! Anyone you kill — their drops are yours to keep!" Black Shark raised his ancient bow and roared the order.
The Dark Hunters' eyes went wild with excitement. Without hesitation, they spread out and charged toward Zero Wing and Indomitable War Spirit's members. Meanwhile, Shadow Claw wasn't about to fall behind — they produced a Tier 3 Blessing Scroll, instantly boosting their entire team's stats to counter the Domain suppression. Only their movement was still slightly hampered, but they all surged toward Dragon Phoenix Pavilion's members.
The two sides had been less than 200 yards apart to begin with. Despite the effects of Frost Hell, the ranged fighters on both sides quickly began exchanging fire.
In an instant, magic and arrows filled the air, and a chorus of explosions and thunderous booms rang out overhead.
