"I know where the art club is, but I can't tell you right now. How about this."
"Join your club first?"
He secretly muttered to himself. He'd asked plenty of people, and they either had never heard of the art club at all, or they hemmed and hawed, doing everything they could to change the subject. Chen Ge was the only one who had clearly told him the art club actually existed.
After thinking it over for a while, Zhou Tu felt Chen Ge was a bit unreliable, but a school teacher surely wouldn't lie to students, right? He finally gave a small nod. "Fine, I'll join. What club do you handle, Teacher?"
"Fill out an application form first." Only after Chen Ge watched Zhou Tu sign did he speak. "Our club is called the Supernatural Phenomena Research Club. We mainly investigate campus ghost stories and various supernatural phenomena."
Hearing Chen Ge's introduction, Zhou Tu froze on the spot. He couldn't believe his school actually had a club like this.
With a teacher officially in charge, this club had to be school-sanctioned.
"There are too many people here. Let's find a quiet place to talk." Chen Ge led his two newly recruited students toward the exit, but right at that moment a commotion erupted in the center of the plaza.
Many students stopped to watch, and Chen Ge halted as well.
"What's going on?"
"Looks like someone wanted to join the street dance club but got rejected, and now they're arguing about it."
"It's just joining a club. What's there to fight about?"
"Someone's throwing punches! They're fighting!"
"Teacher Bai, should we go break it up?"
"The new students are already brawling on their first day — absolutely disgraceful." Chen Ge said the words, but he had no intention of stepping in. He was impersonating Teacher Bai, and he couldn't afford to draw too much attention in a public setting like this.
Before long, the two sides were pulled apart, and the female teacher Chen Ge had spotted in the office earlier came rushing out as well.
She appeared to have a great deal on her plate, already frazzled beyond measure, so the moment she came out, without asking who was right or wrong, she dressed down every single student who had been involved in the fight.
After the students dispersed, the short-tempered female teacher finally left. She headed back into the office building, presumably to resume her work.
"Some of the teachers at this school seem to have lost certain memories too. They're different from the teachers in the east campus." Chen Ge didn't want trouble, but trouble had a way of finding him.
The freshman who had just clashed with the street dance club walked toward Chen Ge while clutching his arm. Whether he wasn't watching where he was going or it was something else entirely, he tripped on the steps and tumbled right down next to Chen Ge.
"Damn it! Even the stairs are against me! What is this world?! Why does everyone have to bully me?!" He cursed under his breath, eyes red and swollen, forcing himself to get back up.
"Are you alright?" Chen Ge looked the student up and down.
