Chapter 41: Body Tempering Realm Eighth Layer

January 17, 2020 · 3 min read · 636 words

“I don’t know… are you just as formidable elsewhere?” Hu Meier gazed at Yang Kai with her limpid eyes, full of hidden meaning, speaking bluntly.

Such blatant flirtation would leave hardly any man unmoved. Moreover, Hu Meier is not bad‑looking; her figure is quite fine—how many people covet her?

A chorus of gulps rose from all sides; Su Mu and the others, already weak‑bodied, felt their blood rush to their heads, straightened up, and several fainted on the spot.

Yang Kai also felt a lascivious heat surge upward; his Adam’s apple rolled involuntarily, his breathing grew heavy, and the large hand gripping Hu Meier’s neck tightened of its own accord.

Hu Meier panted, twisting her body a few times, and shot Yang Kai an annoyed glare: “Are you going to let go?”

While speaking, she extended a hand, gently and tenderly prying open Yang Kai’s grip—whether intentional or not, she placed his hand upon her round, full bosom.

An astonishing elasticity and warmth transmitted from his palm; Yang Kai clearly felt a small protuberance pressing against his palm, this stimulation making the blood seeping from his wound seem to flow even faster.

Yang Kai’s face flushed; he never imagined this girl could be so wanton—how old is she, indeed? Ambition knows no age, and allure is judged by the present moment.

Seeing Yang Kai’s embarrassment, Hu Meier giggled, exhaling like orchids: “What do you intend to do?”

Yang Kai gazed at Hu Meier beneath him, feeling rather like a dog biting a hedgehog with nowhere to sink its teeth. Speaking of the whole battle, this Hu Meier had never laid a hand on any Lingxiao Pavilion disciple, so Yang Kai naturally couldn’t strike her. The reason he wanted to give her a lesson was that she had been stirring up trouble and fanning the flames from the sidelines.

Yet being toyed with by her like this, Yang Kai felt a surge of irritation—after all, he is a man; how could he allow himself to be played with in the palm of her hand?

After a moment’s thought, Yang Kai’s large hand resting on Hu Meier’s chest suddenly squeezed hard.

“Mmm…” Hu Meier’s face changed; she moaned, her pretty face instantly flushing, she shot Yang Kai an angry glare, never expecting him to be so oblivious to tenderness.

Amidst laughter, Yang Kai rose to his feet, looking at Hu Meier and said: “You may go.”

Hu Meier stared blankly, utterly surprised that her usually irresistible charm had failed. She wondered how many eyes were fixed on her body, eager to taste it. Usually, youngsters would quarrel and be jealous over such matters, yet today she found herself interested in a man, took the initiative to seduce him, and was ignored.

Is he even a man?

After a moment’s pause, Hu Meier suddenly broke into a smile, rose from the ground with myriad graces, gazed deeply at Yang Kai, lightly bit her red lips, leaned to his ear and whispered: “You’re quite interesting!”

With a giggle, she turned and left, her slender waist and full hips swaying with endless charm.

Su Mu and the others stared dumbfounded, eyes filled with envy, jealousy, and hatred. They never imagined Yang Kai would refuse such an offer; each asked himself what he would have done if Hu Meier had said those words to him.

He’d probably have taken it! No, no, no—definitely would have taken it; a pie falling from the sky, why refuse? Besides, there’s no loss.

After Hu Meier departed, the crowd turned back to look at Yang Kai, each feeling both heart‑broken and ashamed of themselves.

Ah… a chorus of sighs rose.

Yang Kai crouched down, tore some cloth from the unconscious disciples of the Wind and Rain Tower lying on the ground, and bound his injured hand.
