"Egg, are you absolutely sure this is the Asura Divine Stone?" Chu Feng asked.
"Of course I'm sure! I already told you — this is the Asura Divine Stone, beyond any doubt. There's no way I'm wrong," the Queen said with unwavering certainty.
"But according to you, this Asura Divine Stone can't be moved at all. So why do I feel like I can manipulate it however I want?" Chu Feng asked.
"I find that strange too. Hand it over — let me take a look," the Queen said, extending her small hand toward Chu Feng.
Chu Feng didn't hesitate. He truly felt the stone was nothing special, so without overthinking it, he placed the black stone directly onto the Queen's pale, delicate palm.
However, the moment the stone settled into her hand, it was as though an immense force crashed down upon it. The Queen not only collapsed to the ground, but her palm was slammed flat against the surface as well.
Most alarming of all, the instant her palm hit the ground, a deafening boom rang out. That was no sound of a delicate body falling — it sounded exactly like a boulder weighing tens of thousands of pounds crashing to the earth.
"Egg! Are you alright?"
Seeing this, Chu Feng's heart ached terribly. He rushed forward to help her up.
"It's the Asura Divine Stone — get it away from me!" the Queen cried, pointing at the stone pressing down on her hand.
"It's doing this?" Chu Feng was stunned.
He had held this very stone in his own hands and knew it weighed practically nothing. How could it possibly pin the Queen's hand down like this, leaving her unable to rise?
Though his mind was flooded with confusion, Chu Feng still lifted the stone away.
The stone felt the same as before in his grip — he sensed not even a trace of weight.
Yet when he looked at the Queen's small hand, where the stone had been pressing down, his eyes widened in shock, and his face filled with heartache.
A red mark had been left on her pale skin — an impression caused by crushing pressure — and its shape was an exact match for the stone itself.
Chu Feng's composure shattered completely.
This proved the Queen wasn't faking it. The stone had genuinely inflicted serious harm on her.
"What's going on?" Chu Feng asked, bewildered.
"This Queen was about to ask you the same thing," the Queen replied. She had sat up, her round eyes glaring straight at Chu Feng.
Suddenly, Chu Feng raised his hand and hurled the stone away.
He threw it high into the air. The stone traced a beautiful arc across the sky.
While it was airborne, nothing seemed unusual. But the instant it landed, not only did a piercing roar of impact erupt, but Chu Feng felt the very ground beneath his feet shudder violently.
"This…?" The look of astonishment in Chu Feng's eyes deepened.
This was proof that the stone was far from ordinary.
Then, with a mere thought, the seemingly impossibly heavy stone rose into the air once more, controlled by Chu Feng's will, and drifted smoothly back into his palm.
"Chu Feng — how did you do that?" The Queen's surprise only grew at the sight.
"I just used my martial aura to move it," Chu Feng said.
"Just your martial aura?" The Queen's expression changed entirely upon hearing those words.
She naturally knew that a cultivator could do many things with martial aura alone — not only restrain opponents, but also launch invisible attacks to take a life. And of course, using martial aura to retrieve an object from a distance was child's play.
But if what Chu Feng had retrieved were some ordinary item, that would be one thing.
This was the Asura Divine Stone — the stone hailed as the most powerful cultivation resource in the entire Asura Spirit World.
Countless experts across the Asura Spirit World couldn't accomplish what Chu Feng had just done effortlessly. How could the Queen not be stunned?
"It really was just my martial aura," Chu Feng confirmed.
"You — how can you be this monstrous?! To think you could control the Asura Divine Stone so easily?!"
