Chu Feng sensed something was off, but no matter how he pressed, Egg-Egg refused to say anything, only insisting that Chu Feng was overthinking it.
Yet Chu Feng couldn't shake the feeling that Egg-Egg was hiding something.
Before long, the six beams of light representing the Six Great Spirit Realms vanished from the entrance.

In reality, though, not all that much time had passed. For a ruin of this caliber, the allotted exploration time should have been far longer.
Unless someone had already obtained an earth-shattering treasure—and once that treasure was claimed, the entrances to the Six Great Spirit Realms had automatically sealed themselves shut.
"Brother Chu Feng."
Before long, a familiar voice rang out.
Chu Feng looked toward the source and saw Tao Wu and Old Cat approaching.
Chu Feng was clearly in a concealed state.
Yet, as always, Tao Wu pinpointed his location with a single glance and arrived right beside him.
"Brother Chu Feng, let's talk somewhere else."
As Tao Wu spoke, he whisked Chu Feng away to a more secluded spot.
"Senior, Old Cat—you both look rather pleased. Seems like you had a good haul?"
Chu Feng said this because he noticed that not just Tao Wu, but Old Cat too wore broad smiles on their faces.
That was proof enough that they had reaped some rewards.
"Well, one thing's for certain—we've earned the right to enter the next level."
"It won't be long before that great door deep inside opens, but most people will be blocked. I'm afraid aside from those few big shots, only we'll be able to get in."
"That said, it's all thanks to Brother Tao. He did the heavy lifting," Old Cat said.
"Besides that, we also picked up something good."
"Brother Chu Feng, take this pill."
As Tao Wu spoke, he handed a medicinal pill to Chu Feng.
Chu Feng took one look and noticed the pill was quite unusual. It contained no medicinal potency whatsoever—instead, it was suffused with dense barrier energy.
What made it even more interesting was that the pill had a restriction: only the younger generation could consume it.
Seeing that among the three of them—himself, Tao Wu, and Old Cat—only he qualified to take it, Chu Feng didn't hesitate. He accepted the pill and swallowed it in one go.

"You trust this old man that much? Not afraid I'd harm you?"
Tao Wu stared at Chu Feng in surprise.
"Senior, if I can't trust you, who can I trust?"
"Besides, the pill is infused with barrier energy. Once I swallow it, the formation will activate, and I'll know exactly what it does."
As Chu Feng spoke, barrier energy indeed surged from within his body, coalescing into a humanoid shield that encased him entirely.
"It works! It really works! I can't see Brother Chu Feng anymore!"
Once the humanoid shield enveloped Chu Feng, Old Cat exclaimed.
"Neither can I. Those big shots won't be able to see him either, I'd wager," Tao Wu said.
"So it's a concealment formation? What an incredibly powerful concealment formation!"
Chu Feng was beside himself with delight.
He understood better than anyone just how formidable this concealment formation was. Its power was simply beyond imagination.
Unless he deactivated it himself, only a True God-level powerhouse would be able to detect him.
Of course, the formation had a time limit as well—once it expired, it would dissipate on its own.
"Senior, this treasure wasn't easy for you to obtain, was it?"
Chu Feng asked.
"Never mind how I got it. The important thing is that I'm perfectly fine," Tao Wu said with a smile.
"It was actually quite dangerous. Brother Tao snatched it straight from Dragon Eight Daoist's hands."
