At the summit of the Weisser Mountains, the teleportation array blazed to life once more.
"So many powerhouses have appeared, and their auras are terrifying! Far stronger than the elders in our tribe — could they all be gods?" The iron-feathered gray eagle hid deep within the dense treetops, gazing at the distant mountain summit. This iron-feathered gray eagle, transformed from a young elf, had been too frightened to move after witnessing the gods' arrival. Even the two magical beasts that had been locked in fierce combat had lost the will to fight.
Now, a group of Highgods had appeared on the summit — just like before, there were many!
"With this batch, the total has already exceeded ten thousand." The young druid counted silently.
Leading this group of Highgods was a man draped in white robes with white hair and white eyebrows — yet those eyebrows slanted sharply upward, and his eyes were narrow like a fox's. This was none other than an acquaintance of Lin Lei — the Grand Completion Wind System Highgod, Byier! His subordinates were arriving in waves through the teleportation array.
Suddenly, another teleportation array also blazed to life.
"Oh?" The young druid was surprised.
Every previous teleportation had brought over a hundred people. But this time, there were only two — a young man and a youth.
"Those two, though few in number... judging by the way that group of over a thousand seems to fear them, they must be no ordinary figures." The young druid could clearly see that the arriving young man was locked in a tense standoff with the white-robed, white-haired man, the two exchanging words.
The arrivals were Lin Lei and Bei Bei.
"Don't get cocky, Byier. Who will obtain the Crimson Rhombus Diamond is still anyone's bet." Bei Bei snorted coldly.
This Byier had once fought Lin Lei's group on the Plane Battlefield. The two sides had old grudges between them.
"Then we'll just have to wait and see." Byier cast a cold glance at Lin Lei and Bei Bei. He knew of Lin Lei's battle with Magnus — that Lin Lei had even banished Magnus into the spatial turbulence. As such, Byier didn't dare push too far.
"Let's go!" Byier gave the command.
Immediately, the massive crowd departed, flying away from the summit, leaving only Lin Lei and Bei Bei behind.
"I thought I was fast enough, but I didn't expect the Awklan Material Plane to have attracted so many people." Lin Lei smiled faintly as his divine sense spread out wildly. In an instant, it covered not only both continents but also the vast oceans beyond. "The Awklan Material Plane really is enormous. Even a Grand Completion Highgod would need to draw upon a sovereign's power to cover the entire plane in one sweep. Without a sovereign's power, one could only cover a single continent spanning over a hundred million li at most."
A Grand Completion Highgod — though possessing Sovereign Will — did not have a particularly powerful soul. Relying solely on one's own soul power, the area of coverage was limited.
On the Plane Battlefield, a Grand Completion Highgod relying only on their own soul power could cover a very small range. Only with a sovereign's power could they extend their senses eight thousand li! Lin Lei, using a sovereign's power, could cover thirty-six thousand li! Yet here, in this Material Plane, Lin Lei could cover the entire plane with his soul power alone!

"Across the entire Awklan Material Plane, there are already over ten thousand Highgods. Byier, Dannington, and quite a few other Grand Completion experts have arrived as well. But there are only two Midgods — and they're clearly not Brodie." Lin Lei was puzzled. "Moreover, I haven't found the Crimson Rhombus Diamond anywhere in the entire plane. Perhaps it's hidden inside a spatial ring, and I simply can't detect it."
Hidden inside a spatial ring — even a sovereign could not discover it with divine sense alone.
"Boss, if Brodie isn't here and the Crimson Rhombus Diamond is nowhere to be found... could Brodie have already left the Awklan Material Plane?" Bei Bei said worriedly. "Could he have just passed through here as a waypoint, deliberately misleading his pursuers?"
Lin Lei frowned. "That's possible."
"To find out when Brodie arrived and departed, it would be simplest to ask the Plane Warden." Lin Lei's gaze swept toward the courtyard beside the summit. "Where has the Plane Warden gone?"
"Could the Plane Warden have been taken away by someone else's group?" Bei Bei suggested.
"The Plane Warden is generally not very powerful — usually a Midgod, occasionally a Highgod." Lin Lei's divine sense covered the entire Awklan Material Plane. With his soul mutation granting him soul power that surpassed even a sovereign's, combined with Sovereign Will that exceeded even Grand Completion levels...
Even the Grand Completion experts couldn't detect Lin Lei's divine sense spreading over them.
Just as they couldn't detect a sovereign's divine sense — and for the same reason.
"In the Awklan Material Plane, among the gods, aside from some Lowgods and the two Midgods, everyone else is a Highgod." Lin Lei's frown deepened.
In his view, the Plane Warden should be among the Midgods or Highgods.
"Among those two Midgods, the female Midgod's appearance matches the many statues across this continent — she seems to be the Goddess of Light that the locals worship. And that beastman's appearance also matches the statues of the god worshipped on the other continent." Lin Lei understood that those two were likely not the Plane Warden.
In Material Planes... some religions did not necessarily worship sovereigns.
For example, back in the Yulan Continent plane, there were those who worshipped the War God "O'Brien," and within the Baruch Empire, many people had also placed their faith in Lin Lei. Any being who became a god could enjoy Faith Power. This Faith Power improved the soul itself, and during cultivation and comprehension, one's progress would generally be much faster.
