"To Hell?"
Olivia's words drew almost every gaze in the hall. Lin Lei was somewhat surprised. "Olivia, you're going to Hell tomorrow? Why the rush? You can go to Hell anytime, and besides, the Pantheon Temple will open again on the Yulan Continent in a thousand years."
Most of the powerhouses still remaining on the Yulan Continent were focused on the Pantheon Temple.
"The Pantheon Temple?"
Olivia smiled self-deprecatingly. "What's the point of staying on the Yulan Continent? Do you really think I, Olivia, could compete with Adkins? Could I compete with Lord Green Flame? I'm just a low-grade god. Staying here, all I can do is watch from the sidelines. I'd rather go to Hell sooner."
"Hell!" Olivia's gaze grew distant, as if she were imagining the scenes within. "The legendary supreme plane, 'Hell' — it's where the top powerhouses from countless material planes gather. The number of experts there, the sheer variety, trumps the Planetary Prison by a billion times!"
Everyone present, whether it was Lin Lei, Bei Bei, and Dilia, or Tarosha, Diting, and the Martial God, felt a stirring in their hearts.
They all had some understanding of the number of powerhouses in the Planetary Prison.
But compared to the supreme plane 'Hell,' the Gobada Planetary Prison was nothing but a speck. After all, Hell drew in countless strong individuals from across the material planes — how many had gathered there over the ages? It was virtually impossible to calculate.
"The current Yulan Continent plane does seem to have quite a few powerhouses. But the Yulan Continent is like a gently babbling stream, while Hell is an boundless ocean filled with endless dangers. Dangerous as it is, that's where endless opportunities and endless challenges lie!"
Olivia's eyes blazed. "Hell — I've dreamed of going! That is my stage!"
No one tried to persuade Olivia otherwise.
Because...
Olivia's words had stirred a restlessness even in Lin Lei, Tarosha, and the rest. It was true — how often did the Planetary Prison hold anyone for ten thousand years? The vast majority of powerhouses entered the supreme planes instead, and it wasn't just one plane's worth of them. They came from countless planes.
One could say this—
If you added up all the powerhouses from all the 'prison planes' corresponding to the countless material planes, the total still might not match the number of powerhouses in Hell.
"A stream, the ocean?" These words also resonated deep within Lin Lei.
The Yulan Continent was like a peaceful, clear, gently flowing stream. Once Adkins, Reislin, and the others departed, Lin Lei would surely be one of the strongest creatures in this 'stream.' However, if Lin Lei entered Hell — stepped into that boundless ocean filled with danger — those stronger than him would be beyond counting. There were many who had cultivated far longer than he had, or who were even more talented, or whose backgrounds were far more terrifying.
And yet, that vast Hell made the blood in Lin Lei's veins burn with excitement.
A life with challenges — that was what made the heart race!
Late at night, inside their room, Lin Lei and Dilia lay in bed.
"Lin Lei, what are you thinking about?" Dilia asked softly.
"Me?" Lin Lei snapped out of his thoughts. He had been thinking about the supreme plane 'Hell' — a place he had never been, only imagined. "I was thinking about Hell. I wonder what it looks like, what that plane has to offer."
Dilia's brows furrowed slightly. She understood — Lin Lei was starting to want to go to Hell too.
Deep down, Dilia didn't want Lin Lei to go. In her heart, she didn't want him facing danger again and again. That constant dread and worry would drive her to the breaking point. But Dilia said nothing... She knew.
If she loved Lin Lei, she couldn't chain him too tightly.
She respected his decision.
Lin Lei sighed inwardly. He knew what Dilia was thinking, and it was precisely because of that gratitude swelled even more. She was always silently sacrificing for him. Suddenly, Lin Lei thought of the Wind Elemental Divine Spark he had obtained.
"Dilia, look — what's this?" Lin Lei turned his hand, and a black divine spark radiating a cyan glow floated before Dilia's eyes.
Dilia's eyes lit up. "A Wind Elemental Divine Spark? Is this... Neff's divine spark?" Lin Lei had long since told her everything that had happened over the past few years. Dilia knew that Lin Lei had three divine sparks in his possession.
They were the Earth Elemental mid-grade divine spark that ultimately fell into Lin Lei's hands after the Bernas clone was killed, the Fire Elemental mid-grade divine spark left behind after Anlass's failed assassination, and this Wind Elemental mid-grade divine spark from Neff.
"Go ahead and refine it," Lin Lei said with a smile.
Dilia looked at him for a moment, then finally accepted it. She knew... given her aptitude — and especially since she had become a god by refining a divine spark — if she tried to break through on her own, it could take who knew how many tens of thousands of years.
After Dilia dropped blood on the divine spark and absorbed it into her body, she rested her head against Lin Lei's chest and murmured, "This divine spark — my husband worked hard to get it for me."
Lin Lei couldn't help but smile.
"Dilia, I've heard that in Hell, some of the major families directly use divine sparks to raise their clan members into high-grade gods," Lin Lei remarked admiringly. "Refine three divine sparks in succession and you're a high-grade god. The speed is absolutely astonishing."
Refining a divine spark was a sign of low aptitude.
True powerhouses generally wouldn't refine a divine spark. Even after complete refinement, the divine spark and the soul were never a hundred percent compatible. Fusing profound mysteries became a hundred or even a thousand times harder than for those who became gods on their own.
"I'll definitely work harder to learn how to better wield these Laws' profound mysteries," Dilia said.
The next morning, even though a sliver of sunlight was already casting its glow, a faint chill still lingered. Yet at Dragon Blood Castle, a large crowd had already gathered in the front courtyard's training grounds — everyone had come to see Olivia off.
This time, only Olivia was setting out for Hell.
Diting, Tarosha, Xisai, the Martial God, and the others would wait until the Yulan Continent's affairs were settled before departing.
