Now that Ogavin and Hambrith had been driven off, everyone in Dragon Blood Castle breathed a sigh of relief. Lin Lei, Di Lin, Tarosha, and the rest of their group gathered in the great hall, chatting and laughing together as they enjoyed a lavish dinner.
The mood among Lin Lei's group was quite pleasant.
But Ogavin's mood was absolutely wretched!
A grey, overcast sky.
Ogavin and Hambrith flew side by side in the direction of the O'Brien Empire.
Hambrith glanced at Ogavin. "Ogavin, don't brood over it. Whether it's Tarosha or Di Lin, both of them are stronger than you anticipated. With just the two of us, there's no way we can kill Oliveria right under their noses."
Ogavin remained silent.
"To kill Oliveria, either Oliveria has to leave Dragon Blood Castle, or... Tarosha and Di Lin have to leave Dragon Blood Castle," Hambrith urged. "Ogavin, just give it up for now. Wait until we can get Lord Adkins to take action, or until Bonath and Gaitenbi join our side. Then we'll have a sure chance."
Whether Adkins took action,
Or Bonath, Gaitenbi, Hambrith, and Ogavin all worked together—
Either scenario, if it happened, would make it effortless to slaughter Dragon Blood Castle and kill Oliveria.
But get Lord Adkins to take action?
"What status does Lord Adkins hold? I wouldn't even dare bring it up before him," Ogavin said with a self-deprecating smile. "As for Bonath and Gaitenbi, they're not easy to befriend at all. Getting their help would take more than enough time and more than enough effort."
"Just so you know, you'd better be patient for now," Hambrith said.
Ogavin fell silent.
Patient?
The grudge of his murdered son—how could he endure that? Not a single moment went by when Ogavin didn't want to kill that Oliveria.
Hambrith looked at Ogavin and sighed inwardly. "This Ogavin has really gone mad. I'd better crush any lingering hope he has." He spoke up: "Ogavin, if we want to kill that Oliveria, we have to figure out his exact location first. The moment we use our divine sense to probe his position, they'll detect us immediately. There's absolutely no way we can kill Oliveria while Tarosha and Di Lin are nearby. Just give it up for now."
"What did you just say!" Ogavin's eyes suddenly went wide, and he stared at Hambrith with a look of惊喜.
Hambrith was taken aback. "I... I didn't say anything?"
"You just said it. That part about using divine sense to probe..." Ogavin's eyes were shining with excitement.
Hambrith was completely confused. "Yes, we use divine sense to locate Oliveria, and Di Lin and Tarosha will definitely detect us. Our ambush will fail. So what?" He had no idea why Ogavin was suddenly so excited.
"Haha..."
Ogavin burst out laughing.
"Hm?" Hambrith grew even more bewildered.
Ogavin took a deep breath, his eyes filled with barely contained excitement. "Hambrith, if we use divine sense to search for Oliveria, Tarosha and the others will find us. But... what if I don't use divine sense? Haha, I can't believe I didn't think of that—I was too stupid. Haha..."
Ogavin laughed with wild excitement.
Hambrith began to understand. "Ogavin, without divine sense, you won't be able to find Oliveria right away."
"Don't worry," Ogavin said, a glint of coldness in his eyes. "It's simple—I just need to sneak quietly into Dragon Blood Castle. Tarosha and Di Lin can't possibly maintain their divine sense at all times. Once I'm inside, all I need is a little time to find Oliveria!"
Ogavin was supremely confident.
"Just be careful. Don't run into Tarosha and Di Lin before you even find Oliveria!" Hambrith said with a smile.
"Don't worry. My luck isn't that terrible," Ogavin replied immediately.
If he infiltrated Dragon Blood Castle alone, the only danger was running into Di Lin or Tarosha before finding Oliveria. In that case, he wouldn't have time to kill him.
"This plan of yours actually has a good chance of success—a pretty high one, at that," Hambrith nodded. "But there's still risk involved. Ogavin, all I can do is hope you succeed. As for me, I won't be going with you."
"I don't need you to come." Ogavin understood the situation well enough. "I'll handle it alone."
With that, Ogavin gave Hambrith a smile, then turned around and flew back toward Dragon Blood Castle.
Hambrith watched Ogavin's departing figure and sighed inwardly. "Ogavin's only weakness is how much he cares about that son of his." Both Hambrith and Ogavin were ruthless, cold-blooded people. It was Hambrith who had destroyed the Wushen Mountain. And it was Ogavin who had razed the Baruch Family palace to the ground.

Dragon Blood Castle. Lin Lei and Dilia's quarters.
Lin Lei and Dilia were enjoying their time alone together. Lin Lei leaned against the bed while Dilia lay in his arms, her ear pressed against his chest, listening to the beat of his heart.
Lin Lei gently stroked Dilia's silky hair, breathing in its fragrance, and felt a profound peace settle over him.
"Lin Lei," Dilia murmured softly.
"Hm?" Lin Lei responded.
Dilia said, "Lin Lei, lately I've been feeling so anxious all the time. This kind of life..." She looked up at Lin Lei. "When will it ever end?"
In truth, Lin Lei could feel it too—many people in Dragon Blood Castle were harboring worry deep in their hearts.
"What are you worried about?" Lin Lei sighed. "Back when we were young, you were just an ordinary mage, and I hadn't even reached the Saint Realm yet. Back then, didn't I make it through all those battles, all that struggle? And now, I've already stepped into the God Realm. And you, Dilia—in just a few more years, you'll be able to fully refine your divine spark and enter the God Realm too. We weren't afraid back then, so what is there to fear now?"
