Three Dark Beast Emperors had come to launch the ambush.
The blue giant ape was clearly far more cunning than its two companions—it had planned to flee from the very beginning, creeping quietly to the edge of the battlefield.
The moment it saw Leilin unfurl the Dawnstar Domain, it bolted for its life with reckless abandon.
Unfortunately, such petty tricks were little more than a joke before a Dawnstar.
"Bloodline Siphon!"
A flash of crimson light blazed through Leilin's eyes, filling the giant ape with an overwhelming sense of doom. But under the crushing suppression of the Dawnstar Domain, it had not the slightest power to resist.
Tiny droplets of blood seeped out of its pores, rapidly condensing and coalescing into Leilin's hand.
As vast quantities of blood were drained away, the giant ape's life force grew weaker and weaker until its howls turned into pitiful wails.
Thud! The withered, colossal corpse collapsed to the ground and shattered into countless nutrient-depleted fragments.
"Ding! Detected a faint trace of ancient bloodline aura! Bloodline origin identified: Water Monkey," the Chip reported promptly.
"Oh? Not bad! No wonder it was considerably cleverer than the other Dark Beasts." Leilin glanced briefly at the crimson crystal shard tinged with a hint of blue in his hand, then tucked it away without further thought.
The terrifying Bloodline Siphon continued, but the bloodline crystals it produced were so unremarkable that Leilin couldn't even be bothered to keep them. He tossed them casually over to Xi Ling,
Thud! Thud! Thud!
The alien Wizards on the opposing side, regardless of how powerful they had been, were reduced to nothing more than ants beneath the Domain. One by one they were drained of their bloodlines, collapsing to the ground as desiccated husks.
In the span of just a few breaths, the entire alien force had vanished, leaving behind nothing but fields of shattered corpses. The essence had been carried away with their blood, and what remained was worse than dirt—it would dissipate and crumble before long.
Once Leilin withdrew the Dawnstar Domain, the Wizards who had accompanied him finally realized with horror that every single alien on the other side—aside from Alesha, who still knelt prostrate, and the handful of matrons who had followed her lead—had been utterly annihilated! Even the Dark Elves who had been hesitating moments before were gone without a trace!
In a single move! Several Tier 3 Emperors, along with over a century of accumulated alien strength, all reduced to nothing!

But after her recent experiences, she had grown somewhat weary of the struggle for power and influence.

Lin chuckled, which put Xiling in a slightly sour mood behind him. She suddenly felt a flicker of insecurity.
After passing through the icy corridor, Lin and Xiling arrived before a large fissure. A torrent of freezing wind surged out from within, carrying attacks such as blades of ice along with it.
Hum! A layer of green defensive light emerged around Xiling, but it quickly faltered under the erosion of the glacial energy, causing her expression to shift rapidly.
The cold wind that blew from the underground cavern was something even a Tier 2 Wizard couldn't withstand!
Just as Xiling felt the chill about to penetrate her body, Lin finally made his move. Black flame formed a wall of fire before the two of them, completely blocking the freezing cold outside.

Lin studied the cavern entrance, his expression turning grave. This was unmistakably the entrance to the Glacial Cavern, but it had completely changed. Terrifying ice storms surged ceaselessly from within, and even a Tier 2 Wizard couldn't endure them for long. The kind of apprentice trials held here before were completely out of the question now.

"Mm." Lin nodded. He had long known that far beneath the Glacial Cavern lay an even vaster frozen world — a realm formed by the radiant blood of the Bronze Giantess, a guardian from another world. It stretched endlessly and harbored tremendous danger. Even when Lin himself had been at Tier 3, he had never dared venture recklessly into its depths.
And now it appeared the frozen world's boundaries were still expanding.
"The blood of an existence that grasped the laws of reality still holds such terrifying power even after death!" Lin marveled inwardly. Blue luminescence flared in his eyes, cutting through the darkness within the cavern and piercing deeper below.
"Lin… do you want to go down there?"
Xiling stood off to the side, her voice tinged with worry.
"Yes. There's something I need to retrieve." Lin nodded. There was no point denying it. Here in the Dark Extreme Region, he feared no one. Even if every Wizard and every non-human race banded together against him, it would only take a single Morning Star killing strike to settle it.
"Then you have to be careful!"
Xiling bit her lip. Ever since Lin's return, apart from the one time he had intervened against the non-human races, he had shown no interest whatsoever in anything else going on in the outside world.
She had a premonition — Lin had come here specifically for the Glacial Cavern, and he would likely leave very soon.
But even knowing that, what could she possibly do about it?
With a complicated expression, Xiling watched Lin's figure vanish into the Glacial Cavern. She couldn't even withstand the biting wind herself, let alone keep up with his footsteps any longer. She let out a long sigh.
"Has the gap between Lin and me really grown this wide?"
For a moment, Xiling felt a hollow sense of loss.
The wind howled fiercely on both sides. Lin gave no further thought to Xiling. He had only come out to help the Dark Extreme Region because he happened to be passing through; otherwise, even if the entire region were laid at his feet, it would barely merit his interest.
For a Morning Star, the Dark Extreme Region was far too impoverished. Apart from its considerable size, there was nothing here worthy of attention.
Lin's main objective this time was the Frost World.
"Warning! Ambient temperature dropping rapidly. Initiating real-time monitoring!" The Chip's mechanical voice provided its report.
"Current temperature: minus 100 degrees!" "150 degrees!"
The temperature reading on the Chip plummeted continuously, eventually even falling below absolute zero.
A terrifying, bone-chilling cold spread everywhere, causing space and time to feel somewhat stagnant. A blue luminescence blanketed the entire area.

The Chip's alert sounded once more.
"The expansion of the Frost World has already reached this extent?"
Lin felt a touch of surprise.
At the same time, he pulled up the topographical map previously stored by the Chip. A comparison clearly showed that while the Frost Cavern's geography was the same as before, its surface was now covered by a layer of much sturdier blue ice, even affecting many of the creatures.
"Squeak..." A creature's cry sounded from nearby, and the Chip quickly relayed the detection image.
Lin's expression shifted slightly, and he walked over.
What appeared before him was a creature he knew all too well—an Ice Jade Scorpion!
However, compared to the elite Ice Jade Scorpions he had seen before, this individual was obviously several times larger, and the energy intensity on its body had reached the second level!
Even the woman's face on its back seemed far more vivid.
