Star Moon Kingdom Regional Announcement: Zero Wing Guild is the first to achieve a place in the top one hundred of the City-level Honor Ranking with exclusive occupancy. Title awarded: Honorary Guild. Reward: 500 gold in guild funds, 30,000 points of guild renown, and 7,000 points of guild honor.
Originally, Zero Wing dominating the honor rankings was just a White River City affair — nobody across the vast Star Moon Kingdom had paid it much attention. But with these three announcements, every player in the entire kingdom was stunned, including those currently inside dungeons. The moment they saw the system announcements, they were utterly shocked.
Just looking at the gold rewards was enough to make the major guilds in every city seethe with envy and jealousy.
Three rounds of rewards added up to 800 gold coins.
For the current Divine Realm, a major guild having ten-plus gold in liquid capital was already considered decent. Earning money in the Divine Realm was never easy. While everyone's levels were rising and the money they earned was more than before, expenses were climbing just as fast. There were simply too many things across the board that required spending.
For instance, repairing equipment.
For instance, learning skills.
For instance, purchasing potions, scrolls, whetstones, and other essential adventuring supplies.
Most importantly, there was the matter of inn stays and daily meals. Before the system upgrade in the Divine Realm, players hadn't needed to rest at inns, let alone eat. But after the upgrade, if a player went without rest for too long, their mental state would deteriorate. If they went without eating for an extended period, their body attributes wouldn't be affected, but their physical condition would — making combat and leveling extremely inefficient.
Because of all these expenses, the spare change in players' pockets hadn't actually increased. In fact, it was less than before.
But precisely because of this, many obscure crafting professions had entered players' sights and begun to develop rapidly. It wasn't only mainstream professions that could make serious money — non-mainstream ones could do just as well.
As for a guild's daily operations, the situation was even worse — expenses consistently exceeded income. If the major guilds didn't have large gold-farming teams, they would have stalled long ago.
800 gold was an astronomical figure for any guild in the Star Moon Kingdom.
If Zero Wing had previously been considered a pretty good guild across the whole kingdom, from this point on it had become a renowned guild — blazing hot, impossible to ignore.
The official Star Moon Kingdom forum for the Divine Realm was flooded with posts about Zero Wing, every single one expressing amazement.
"Zero Wing again! First the guild base, and now they've swept the White River City honor rankings. Things that even first-rate guilds haven't managed to pull off — this no-name upstart did all of it. They're on track to become the rulers of the Star Moon Kingdom!"
"Why doesn't Zero Wing recruit in our city? If they opened recruitment here, I'd be the first in line!"
"I heard Zero Wing is recruiting again in White River City. I think I'll just go there. It'll cost a lot, but joining a great guild is worth every penny."
"Totally. I heard Zero Wing's benefits are amazing — you can even rent private rooms in the guild base to rest and double your stored experience points. If I could get into Zero Wing, a twenty-silver teleportation fee would be an absolute bargain."
Across every major city in the Star Moon Kingdom, numerous players were now considering joining Zero Wing. Before, they had been frustrated that Zero Wing only recruited in White River City. But as Zero Wing grew ever more dazzling, the number of players wanting in would only increase. If they didn't act soon, competition down the line could become fiercer — and a spot that was within reach now might slip away entirely. Besides, joining Zero Wing earlier meant accumulating guild merit faster and gaining access to guild benefits sooner.
"Brother Jianying, our combined savings aren't even enough to cover the teleportation fee. Why don't we wait until Zero Wing's next recruitment drive?" A tall, striking female knight with bright eyes and neat teeth, dressed in plain gear supplemented by a few pieces of Bronze Equipment, turned to address the resolute, imposing Berserker leading their group. "Right now in Blue Stone City, there are a few first-rate and second-rate guilds recruiting too. With our strength, getting into those guilds would be no problem at all. Why spend so much money to go all the way to White River City?"
