The drops from the four Blood Hunt trackers rained down from the sky like a downpour.
Even a rough estimate put the total at over three hundred items, of which more than thirty were Epic-grade based on a quick visual scan, and at least two Legendary fragments. The loot was significantly more plentiful than what upper-tier Legendary monsters outside would drop.
Even Shi Feng, who was present, felt a flicker of surprise.
He had already known that God-Tier Secret Realm monsters boasted far higher drop rates than those outside, but seeing it with his own eyes was still somewhat staggering.
In the Divine Realm, once monsters reached Level 150 and above, upper-tier Legendary creatures dropped noticeably fewer Epic items. This was because past Level 150, the chance of obtaining Epic weapons and equipment above that level plummeted further still. Even upper-tier Legendary monsters at Level 150 or higher could usually only drop two or three pieces of Level 150+ Epic gear at best.
This was precisely why players in the Divine Realm who had surpassed Level 150 actually ended up with fewer Level 150+ Epic weapons and equipment. Many players who appeared to be decked out in Epic gear were actually wearing pieces that could only be used up to Level 150.
But the thirty-plus Epic items dropped here were the genuine article — all Level 150 or above!
Shi Feng did not rush to sort through the loot, however. He continued coordinating with the others to quickly eliminate the Blood Beast soldiers still on the field. It took nearly an hour before the last of the hundred-plus creatures was finally brought down.
The hundred-plus Level 150+ Blood Beast soldiers did not push anyone's experience bar up by a full level, but it had nonetheless risen by a considerable margin. Moreover, the Epic items they dropped were by no means inferior to those from the four Blood Hunt trackers.
"Guild Leader, I picked up several Epic pieces, all usable up to Level 180 — and one of them is an eight-piece set item!" Ke Le ran over, holding up a plate armor gauntlet with barely contained excitement.
Shi Feng glanced at the piece in Ke Le's hand and raised an eyebrow. "The Level 180 Sacred Heart set?"
A Level 180 Epic set was already rare in the Divine Realm, and an eight-piece set was rarer still — comparable to a Legendary fragment. Many leaders of major guilds would have struggled to assemble a complete set. With one, your base stats would not be far below those of someone wearing full Legendary fragments, and you could use the set all the way to Level 200 without ever needing to swap gear.
In short, a Level 180 Epic eight-piece set could be considered the Divine Realm's "graduation" equipment.
In his previous life, at the height of his power, Shi Feng had only managed a Level 180 Epic six-piece set. As for the eight-piece variant — that had been little more than a pipe dream. Obtaining one or two Legendary fragments would have been far more realistic.
He had never expected that the Blood monsters here could actually drop a Level 180 Epic eight-piece set. This was an absolute stroke of luck.
As long as they could assemble a complete set, in the current state of the Divine Realm, its owner would be virtually invincible. Or rather, it could allow an ordinary Tier 4 expert to directly wield Tier 5 combat power. Until a true Tier 5 powerhouse appeared, who could possibly stand against that?
Before long, Yan Tianxing also found a Level 180 Epic eight-piece set piece — though not for a plate armor class, but for a cloth armor class: the Spirit Abyss set. And he was not the only one; Ziyan Liuyun picked one up as well.
By the time all the drops had been tallied, everyone was practically buzzing with excitement.
The Level 180 Epic weapons and equipment alone numbered seventy-one pieces. Among them, a staggering five were Level 180 Epic eight-piece set items: one Sacred Heart plate armor gauntlet, two Spirit Abyss cloth armor pieces — a pair of shoes and a gauntlet — and two Demon Dragon leather armor pieces, a helmet and a pair of shoes.
On top of that, two Legendary fragments had dropped: the Windward Shield and the Phantom Ring, both top-tier pieces. Most importantly of all, a God Crystal had also appeared, leaving Han Guang Shiying and the rest itching with desire.
Legendary fragments were no longer uncommon among the major superpowers — the largest super guilds had accumulated as many as thirty or forty. But each guild was teeming with experts, and even core members would consider themselves fortunate to obtain a single piece. Legendary fragments did not multiply rapidly with players' level progression; they were accumulated slowly over time, since the channels through which they could be obtained were always limited.
The God Crystal, however, was something else entirely. It was the key to upgrading many Legendary fragments into something greater, and countless forces would have given anything for one — if only they knew where to find it.
