Meteorfire City, Sky Flame Inn.
With the arrival of Shi Feng and his three companions, all the high-ranking members of the Sky Flame Adventuring Party had gathered in one place. The conference room—large enough to fit a basketball court—was starting to feel a little crowded.
Among the hundred or so people in the room, every single one was at least Level 133 or above. The weakest had entered the Threshold of Subtlety or the Realm of Reason, and there were over twenty top-tier experts among them. In the Divine Realm, this was a squad that even the major superpowers would have to take seriously.
A team of this caliber was something only the major superpowers could field. First-rate guilds could only dream of it.
Five of them exuded particularly powerful auras—they had clearly already stepped into Tier 4. That was one more than the four Tier 4 professionals that had been rumored on the outside.
Chi Lan, the female assassin who hadn't reached Tier 4 the last time, had now also been promoted to a Tier 4 class. The other two who had advanced to Tier 4 were both Vice Captains of the Sky Flame Adventuring Party.
One was Xue Ren Bu Gui, a Level 135 Tier 4 Berserker. The other was Yuan Wei, the Sky Flame Adventuring Party's only female Vice Captain—a Level 135 Oracle.
"How about it, Brother Black Flame?" Shi Xin Fei Xue watched Shi Feng walk in and gestured toward the assembled Sky Flame members with a smile. "Are you satisfied with this elite squad of ours?"
"Not bad at all." Shi Feng swept his gaze over the crowd and nodded, smiling. "Don't tell me this is the surprise Captain Shi Xin mentioned."
Setting aside the five Tier 4 professionals, this hundred-man squad alone was already devastatingly powerful. Their equipment was full of Epic-rank items, and some of them even had fragments of Legendary-rank gear. In terms of the total number of Legendary-rank item fragments, the Sky Flame Adventuring Party might well have had more than some of the superpowers in the Divine Realm.
A hundred-man team like this certainly had every right to be proud.
"Of course not." Shi Xin Fei Xue shook his head with a laugh, then produced an ancient, time-worn crystal from his inventory. "Take a look—tell me what this is."
Shi Feng glanced at it, and his expression shifted instantly.
"A Tier 5 Demon-Sealing Crystal!" He stared at the dark gray crystal in Shi Xin Fei Xue's hand, hardly believing it was real.
Tier 5 magic skill scrolls were exceedingly rare throughout the entire Divine Realm. The reason was that the power of Tier 5 magic was simply too devastating—sealing it into a scroll required impossibly high standards. And even when a Tier 5 skill was successfully sealed in a scroll, the scroll could at best unleash half of its true power.
But a Demon-Sealing Crystal could perfectly preserve any magic skill of Tier 4 or above.
Although a Demon-Sealing Crystal could only be used once, it placed no requirements on the user and could unleash one hundred percent of the sealed skill's power.
The darker the color of the Demon-Sealing Crystal, the stronger the magic skill sealed within. The deep gray of this one meant the sealed skill was at least Tier 5 in power.
"That's right—it really is a Tier 5 Demon-Sealing Crystal." Shi Xin Fei Xue smiled faintly. "Pure luck, really. I ran into a great noble who'd come from another main city, helped him complete an extremely difficult quest, and managed to buy this Tier 5 Demon-Sealing Crystal from him."
"I believe with this Tier 5 Demon-Sealing Crystal, our operation this time will go much more smoothly."
"Indeed." Shi Feng nodded. "If the magic skill sealed inside is powerful enough, it might even be able to seriously wound a Tier 4 young dragon."
An unsuppressed Tier 4 young dragon could rival a Tier 5 monster—but only just, holding its own against a Tier 5 creature at best. Against a powerful Tier 5 magic skill, though, the young dragon still wouldn't stand a chance. This Tier 5 Demon-Sealing Crystal was a genuine trump card.
"For this operation, the Sky Flame Adventuring Party plans to provide Brother Black Flame with our full support. We've gathered every top expert in the party—a total of 124 people, five of whom have reached Tier 4. Team assignments and adjustments are already complete, and from here on, we'll all follow Brother Black Flame's command." Shi Xin Fei Xue's voice was brimming with pride. "If Brother Black Flame has anyone else joining on your end, we can adjust the team at any time."
"Thank you for this, Captain Shi Xin." Shi Feng expressed his gratitude.
To take on a Tier 4 young dragon, he did have a certain degree of confidence—but he had never actually killed an unsuppressed, unweakened Tier 4 young dragon before. A total party wipe wouldn't have been surprising at all.
The fact that the Sky Flame Adventuring Party was willing to go all in with their support truly required considerable courage and determination.
"Don't mention it, Brother Black Flame. We're simply helping each other. If you succeed, it'll be a huge benefit for our Sky Flame Adventuring Party as well. How could we possibly hold back?" Shi Xin Fei Xue said. "If everything is ready on your end, we can move out at any time."
This operation was indeed very risky.
But what he was gambling on wasn't killing the Tier 4 young dragon—it was binding Shi Feng to his ship.
Because whether it was Soul Crystals or Soul Water, they were enormously helpful for advancing to Tier 4. Even Chi Lan, who had failed once before, had successfully broken through to Tier 4 after using a Soul Crystal this time.
As for the others who had advanced to Tier 4, every single one of them said that without the help of Soul Crystals and Soul Water, they likely would have failed.
That was why he had come to value the Soul Crystals and Soul Water even more. He had to keep these two items firmly in his grasp, and Shi Feng was the key.
As for this attempt to clear the Tier 4 young dragon—whether they succeeded or failed, he would come out ahead either way.
"I'm good on my end. I just need to readjust your party's team configuration—I need to add three people." Shi Feng said.
"Three people?" Shi Xin Fei Xue couldn't help but glance at the three figures standing behind Shi Feng.
All three were wearing black cloaks, their auras and information completely hidden. But judging by their appearances, one of them was the woman he had met before—Yu Luo. The other two were presumably companions who had come with Shi Feng.
What surprised him, though, was that Shi Feng had only brought three people for this operation.
After all, they were going up against a Tier 4 young dragon—an invincible existence at Tier 4. Leading a hundred-man squad was one thing, but even commanding ten thousand wouldn't have been an overstatement for something like this.
And yet Shi Feng was planning to bring only three along…
"Yeah—I'm new to Meteorfire City," Shi Feng nodded. "I'm sure Captain Shi Xin finds it amusing."
