"The two of them?"
Yu Luo looked at the spot Shi Feng was gazing toward in confusion, a strange feeling rising in her chest.
Because there was absolutely no one in that location. Even pushing the perception of her Void Realm to its absolute limit, she couldn't detect any trace of a living being's aura or presence, nor any unnatural fluctuations in the space itself.
After all, any expert who had reached the Void Realm would be intimately aware of every subtle disturbance in their surroundings. An assassin's Stealth was ultimately just a form of invisibility—so long as they moved, they would inevitably create all manner of disruptions. No matter how slow or gentle their movements, they would disturb the air and produce unnatural fluctuations in space.
Even a top-tier assassin couldn't approach within twenty or thirty yards of a Void Realm expert without being detected. They could generally only operate beyond thirty yards. As for those monstrous experts who had mastered a Domain, breaching the twenty-yard radius of a Void Realm expert was extremely difficult—they could maintain it for a few seconds at most before being discovered.
Yet the spot Shi Feng was looking at was less than twenty yards from them, and the two of them had been chatting for quite some time. Even a Domain-master couldn't remain hidden that long.
Lionheart Boiling Blood's expression shifted slightly, and a hint of wariness—and admiration—entered his gaze as he looked at Shi Feng.
"Impressive! Truly worthy of being a Tier 4 expert who can travel freely between main cities."
He had brought Chasing Wind Under Heaven and Chi Lan along precisely with the intention of testing Shi Feng's capabilities. Among the Flame Sky Adventuring Party, Chi Lan ranked second in Stealth proficiency. She had not only used her Domain's properties to develop a unique movement-based stealth technique, but she could also conceal her life aura using special potions.
Let alone a Tier 3 expert who had mastered a Domain—even Tier 4 Class holders who had mastered a Domain had failed to detect Chi Lan when she approached within twenty yards. Of course, her absolute limit was around sixteen or seventeen yards—any closer and she would be discovered—but that range alone made her the talk of Meteor Fire City, enough to give even Tier 4 experts pause.
Chasing Wind Under Heaven was even more formidable. After advancing to the Tier 4 Class, his Stealth was no longer merely a matter of invisibility or life-aura concealment—he could truly slip into a separate Shadow Dimension. Anything he did within that dimension couldn't affect the Divine Realm's space, and naturally, he couldn't be detected.
Even Lionheart himself—if he hadn't known Chasing Wind Under Heaven's methods—would never have sensed him at a distance of a dozen yards or so.
But Shi Feng had called them out directly, stating there were two people behind him, which meant he had absolutely detected both Chi Lan and Chasing Wind Under Heaven.
"Chasing Wind, Chi Lan, come on out." Lionheart Boiling Blood looked at the open ground as well and laughed in resignation. "No point hiding anymore."
As his words fell, two figures gradually materialized from the empty clearing—Chasing Wind Under Heaven and Chi Lan, both of them staring at Shi Feng with undisguised bewilderment.
"Guild Leader, was there something unnatural about my position just now?" Chi Lan couldn't help but whisper to Lionheart Boiling Blood.
She had been worried about being detected and had deliberately kept her distance at twenty yards—in fact, she had pulled back to a full twenty-one yards. After all, facing an unknown Tier 4 expert whose abilities she didn't understand, she hadn't wanted to ruin Lionheart Boiling Blood's little test.
But even at twenty-one yards, she had still been discovered. As far as she could recall, aside from the Guild Leader, this was the first time a Tier 4 Class holder had detected her beyond the twenty-yard mark.
"No, there was nothing wrong on your end. This man is far stronger than we imagined." Lionheart Boiling Blood shook his head slightly, replying just as quietly through their private channel. "Don't make any more rash moves going forward."
He had detected not only Chi Lan but Chasing Wind Under Heaven as well. Against a Tier 4 expert of this caliber, defeating him in battle might be possible, but killing him would be extraordinarily difficult. Unless there was absolutely no other option, it was best not to make an enemy of such a person.
Chi Lan and Chasing Wind Under Heaven both nodded silently.
The brief exchange between the three lasted only two or three seconds—to an outside observer, nothing seemed amiss. They simply watched as Chasing Wind Under Heaven and Chi Lan emerged and slowly walked over.
Standing beside Shi Feng, Yu Luo stared at the approaching pair, her eyes wide with disbelief.
"There really were two people!"
At a distance of twenty yards, she had truly sensed absolutely nothing. This completely shattered everything she thought she knew about the assassin Class.
But compared to Yu Luo's shock, the gaze with which Shi Feng regarded the two newcomers carried a measure of extra caution.
The strength of these two was genuinely astonishing—especially Chasing Wind Under Heaven.
If not for the breakthrough of his Mana Body, which had significantly bolstered his constitution and perception and set him apart from ordinary Tier 4 Class holders, he never would have detected Chasing Wind Under Heaven.
A Tier 4 assassin of this caliber targeting a player would be nothing short of a nightmare. You would never know when such an assassin might suddenly materialize a dozen yards away and deliver a fatal strike. A dozen yards was the span of a blink for a Tier 4 Class holder—even he could easily be caught off guard if momentarily pinned down.
"Then let's head to the auction house's reception room and have our discussion there," Lionheart Boiling Blood suggested to Shi Feng.
