Shi Wu had seen the figure in the monument before, and recently at that.
It was the Grand Priest Xia Lian, who had fought the two fallen angels in the Demon Castle, or rather, the woman in the monument looked exactly like Xia Lian, possessing the same holy, ethereal aura. If there was any difference, it was the pressure.
This wasn't the pressure generated by immense power, but a reverence stemming from the gap in the hierarchy of life.
Like mortals revere gods.
"Could she be a goddess?" Looking at the woman before her who bore a striking resemblance to Xia Lian, this thought suddenly popped into Huo Wu's mind.
