"Complete third-tier Class inheritances for every Class?"
All four people present — whether Huan Yu or Bu Mie Zhan Xin — were stunned speechless by what they heard, each staring at Shi Feng in utter disbelief.
Qing Yi Du Xing, a prodigious newcomer of the Crimson Emperor Guild, felt as though Shi Feng was spinning some wild fantasy.
Throughout the entire Divine Realm, every kingdom and empire had locked away third-tier inheritances, hoarding them as priceless treasures that no outsider could hope to obtain. Players could only acquire third-tier inheritances in small, scattered quantities from the leftover remnants found on neutral maps.
And now Shi Feng was telling her that complete third-tier inheritances could be had? How could she possibly believe that?
"Guild Leader Black Flame, are you serious?" Huan Yu couldn't help but ask.
If it were anything else, it wouldn't matter as much. A mere boost to leveling speed wouldn't have a significant impact on a guild, because in the Divine Realm, one's Class tier was everything — level was secondary.
Setting aside the currently elusive fourth-tier Classes, the predicament facing every major superpower right now was the difficulty of advancing to third-tier. The great superpowers even measured each other's strength and depth by the sheer number of third-tier Class holders they possessed.
If what Shi Feng said was true — if there really were complete third-tier Class inheritances inside the Secret Accord Tower — then this was nothing short of earth-shattering.
If word leaked out even slightly, it would send shockwaves throughout the entire Divine Realm.
After all, even though many players had already surpassed level one hundred, those who had actually completed their third-tier Class advancement were still exceedingly rare.
If players could obtain complete third-tier Class inheritances, the difficulty of advancing to the third tier would drop considerably. That was precisely why NPCs advanced to the third tier far more easily than players did.
If the difficulty for players were lowered, one could imagine the number of third-tier Class holders would skyrocket several times over.
"You can go see for yourselves later," Shi Feng said with a faint smile. "But before that, we need to settle whether we're cooperating or not."
"We're in!" Bu Mie Zhan Xin said without the slightest hesitation.
"Of course Crimson Emperor won't pass up this opportunity." Huan Yu nodded, though a trace of worry flickered across her face. "But with the manpower of just our three guilds combined, it'll be difficult to seal off Tianquan City, let alone keep the true secret of the Secret Accord Tower under wraps."
Sealing off an NPC city was no easy feat, since players could teleport in freely — there was no way to prevent that. The best they could do was stop players already inside from getting out, cutting down anyone who dared leave.
But players could also use other means to slip out of the city. The simplest was to do what Shi Feng had done — use a teleportation scroll, after which they'd have no way of tracking them.
The second issue was the complete third-tier inheritances in the Secret Accord Tower. If both guilds dispatched large forces to collect them, the spies that the major superpowers had planted in their ranks would likely catch on before long.
At that point, sealing off Tianquan City would become even harder — or rather, outright impossible.
"Rest easy on that front," Shi Feng said with a smile. "Once you agree to cooperate, everything becomes much easier." He produced a pale gold token and explained, "This is the Guild Permit for Tianquan City. Zero Wing has already taken up residence in Tianquan City and obtained partial administrative authority over it."
"Partial administrative authority?" Huan Yu's eyes widened as she stared at the Guild Permit.
Kingdom and empire NPC cities were managed by NPCs, and that was precisely why the various factions had always fought tooth and nail to gain influence over them. But if one held actual administrative authority — even partial — no other faction could wrest it away.
In other words, Tianquan City had already become Zero Wing's possession.
"So this is the privilege of officially establishing a guild in a city?" Bu Mie Zhan Xin gazed at it with undisguised envy.
He had to admit, this privilege was truly formidable.
Given enough time, surpassing other guilds was simply a matter of when, not if.
A guild town admittedly had enormous development potential and would be immensely valuable down the road. But in the current state of the Divine Realm, NPC cities still dominated the landscape. Travel between NPC cities was incredibly convenient, and the NPC cities boasted all manner of shops and Auction Houses — players and major factions simply couldn't do without them.
To fully claim an NPC city was to possess an inexactly gushing gold mine that required almost no management yet generated enormous returns. It was the dream of every superpower in existence.
"That's right — this is an official privilege granted by the War God's Temple." Shi Feng didn't keep them in the dark, continuing at a measured pace. "With this token, I can activate the magical barrier in Tianquan City, disabling all teleportation items within the city limits. That way, the only way out is to leave on foot."
"Furthermore, regarding the complete third-tier inheritances in the Secret Accord Tower, to maintain secrecy, our three guilds need only send our main raid teams inside to collect them. Flooding in with masses of players would be pointless — in the deeper spatial layers, ordinary third-tier teams can barely survive, let alone locate complete third-tier inheritances."
"Of course, this secret can't be kept forever. But for now, we keep it under wraps for as long as we can."
