Without standing on ceremony over Feng Qianyu's sincere invitation, Shi Feng walked over and took a seat beside her.
"It's been a while, but you've gotten quite a bit stronger." Feng Qianyu looked Shi Feng over, offering praise without restraint.
"Not bad," Shi Feng replied, getting straight to the point. "Everything alright on your end?"
The reason he had suddenly come to the Moonfire Bar was entirely because he had received Feng Qianyu's message. He had actually been somewhat happy about it, only to find that she had reappeared and the situation didn't seem nearly as dire as Duan Hanshan had made it out to be.
But the moment he laid eyes on Feng Qianyu, he understood.
Things were worse than he had imagined.
Because in his eyes, Feng Qianyu could no longer be called human. Every single piece of data on her was listed as "unknown," completely impossible to scan. Moreover, the feeling she gave off was one of total integration with the Divine Realm — no different from the grass, trees, and flowers within it.
Shi Feng even had the illusion that she had been born into this world from the very beginning.
Feng Qianyu glanced at Shi Feng with faint surprise, then offered a thin smile.
"You could say there's trouble, and you could say there isn't."
"Then things aren't too bad." Shi Feng nodded and pressed further. "So can you tell me what actually happened?"
The disappearance of all three Pavilion Masters from a top-tier guild had sent shockwaves through every major superpower in the Divine Realm. If the Dragon and Phoenix Pavilion hadn't managed to suppress the information, it would have been front-page news in the real world long ago.
"I can't tell you that." Feng Qianyu shook her head and looked at Shi Feng. "I had a hard time getting here. I only came to tell you two things."
Though her words were delivered in an even tone, her eyes betrayed a deep, bone-weary exhaustion.
"What things?" Shi Feng didn't press the issue.
He could tell she wasn't joking — she was completely serious. Probing further would serve no purpose.
"First, I'm hoping you'll look after my sister for me." As she spoke, Feng Qianyu produced an information card and handed it directly to Shi Feng. "Her details and address are on there. Now that I'm not by her side, she's capable enough on her own, but the people causing trouble for her won't be easy to deal with either. If the opportunity comes, I hope you can help sort things out."
Shi Feng glanced at the information card and froze.
Because Feng Qianyu's sister's address was located in the Upper Zone…
"Weren't you in the Upper Zone?" Shi Feng asked, confusion plain on his face.
"In the Upper Zone?" Feng Qianyu blinked in mild surprise, then seemed to catch on and smiled faintly. "Yes, you could put it that way. But I'm afraid it's very difficult for me to see her right now. I can only hope you'll help her out — there's no one else I trust."
"That's no problem. If I make it to the Upper Zone, I'll go check on her." Shi Feng nodded in agreement. After all, Feng Qianyu had helped him out plenty of times. Looking after her sister was the least he could do.
"Then thank you." Feng Qianyu let out a visible sigh of relief. She then took a deep breath and spoke with gravity. "The second matter is a personal piece of advice — two warnings, specifically."
"Warnings?" Shi Feng looked at her extremely serious expression and asked, "Is this about the Hand of the Sacred Heart?"
The sudden disappearance of Feng Qianyu and the others — according to Duan Hanshan, it was connected to the Hand of the Sacred Heart. And it seemed every major superpower was deeply afraid of them.
"No." Feng Qianyu shook her head and spoke earnestly. "The first warning is to watch out for three people."
