The departure of Lei Lin and his group caused no ripples within the Ouroboros Circle.

Warlocks going out to travel, seek adventure, and explore secret realms while taking a break from their studies was perfectly normal, and given the long lifespans of Wizards, even if they vanished for a few years, no one would really notice.

The twelve Third Grade Warlocks suppressed the terrifying radiation and energy fluctuations radiating from their bodies, disguising themselves as a band of mercenaries and adventurers — a common sight in the Central Continent — and quietly boarded an airship at a city not far from the Phosphorfire Swamp.

Lei Lin stood on the deck, gazing at the prominent family insignia emblazoned on the airship's hull, feeling somewhat speechless.

"As expected of the Sky Throne — just one of the forces under their command monopolizes the entire airship transport network across the Central Continent!"

Inwardly, Lei Lin let out a sigh of admiration, accompanied by undisguised longing.

"What are you looking at?"

A whiff of perfume drifted past, and then Kashia walked over, leaning half against the railing, displaying her beautiful figure.

Thanks to her warlock bloodline enhancement, her skin was even more exquisite and delicate. Combined with her slender eyes and slightly upturned cherry lips, she exuded an eerie, bewitching charm that caused several other passengers to swallow hard, faint flames stirring in their lower abdomens.

Lei Lin's eyes naturally swept over Kashia without the slightest courtesy, lingering a moment longer on certain hidden areas.

"Hehe!" Kashia giggled, thrusting out her chest without the least inhibition. "The journey's quite boring — want to come to my room and have some fun?"

Lei Lin rolled his eyes. Promiscuity and loose morals among the aristocracy were nothing new, and Wizards who wielded immense power and enjoyed long lives were even more so.

That said, warlocks were a somewhat different story. In order to obtain superior and purer bloodlines, female warlocks were even more audacious — and they certainly had the assets to back it up.

"Sorry! Not today. The first person I think of when I decide to sell my Life Seeds will definitely be you, Senior Sister!"

Lei Lin's face carried a smile.

"Well, that's a real shame!" Kashia licked one of her fingers, showing no embarrassment at being turned down whatsoever.

"But! I really do like you, Junior!" She pressed a finger against Lei Lin's chest, her fingertip tracing little circles while she wore a sweet smile.

But that was as far as it went. Kashia made no further moves and instead struck up casual conversation with Lei Lin — very measured in her approach.

"Do you know Fuyue and Milanta?" Kashia suddenly asked.

"I've seen them a few times!" A twitch ran across Lei Lin's face, betraying a hint of unnaturalness. For those two lunatics, especially lunatics who wielded such formidable power, he really didn't have any good countermeasures.

"Then do you know?" A mysterious smile played on Kashia's face, tinged with a young girl's cunning.

"They've already put the word out. You belong to them as prey. Any female wizard who dares to have designs on you is making an enemy of them!"

"I..." Inside, Lei Lin mentally rolled his eyes so hard he nearly swore aloud.

"Those two lunatics!" Finally, he still said it with some indignant dissatisfaction.

"Actually, aren't you really going to consider it? Milanta's skills are excellent, capable of making countless wizards lose themselves in ecstasy—she's known as the Spirit-Sucking Witch. And as for Fuyue..."

Kashia leaned forward, almost pressing against Lei Lin, and whispered into his ear: "Fuyue has never been with a man; she might still be a virgin, you know!"

The scent of her hair drifted continuously before Lei Lin's nose, and coupled with Kashia's words, it only made his mouth feel drier.

"Oh?" A triumphant smile bloomed on Kashia's face. "How about it now? Do you want your senior sister to help you cool down a little fire? My skills are no worse than Milanta's!"

As she spoke, she also extended her small, pink tongue and gave a light lick to the curve of Lei Lin's ear.

"So that's it. You know them?"

Suddenly, Kashia felt Lei Lin beside her go cold all over, as if he had turned into a block of ice.

She looked up in surprise, only to see Lei Lin's expressionless face. His eyes had become even more crystal clear, without a trace of desire.

"Yes! I know them, but Fuyue only asked me to pass along a simple message for them!"

Seeing Lei Lin in this state, Kashia instinctively retreated a few steps, not daring to come any closer to tease him.

"Please pass along to them that I will give it careful consideration," Lei Lin said flatly.

"Understood!" Kashia took another deep look at Lei Lin. "This state! It seems you aren't affected at all by those emotions within the bloodline. I finally understand why Fuyue can't get you out of her mind! Such an excellent bloodline is exactly what our Komoin wizard family desperately needs..."

Watching Kashia's retreating figure, Lei Lin rubbed his chin, a bitter smile appearing at the corner of his mouth.

Even the Komoin wizard family would experience bloodline degradation. Just looking at the fact that three Hallar Black Snake wizards had emerged from Kashia's family was enough to show that her family's bloodline was likely also facing the danger of degeneration.

Just now, at least half of what she said was true. If Lei Lin had agreed, Kashia definitely wouldn't have hesitated to roll in the hay with him a few times, while also trying to obtain his bloodline.

Even setting aside the bloodline issue, given how emotionally volatile female warlocks are, it was entirely possible they would sleep with a wizard simply because they found him attractive.

In the world of wizards, this wasn't limited to female warlocks—even female wizards behaved the same way. Genuine maidens were actually a rather rare breed.

But Lei Lin genuinely had no interest in any of that.

Setting aside the fact that he was still on an expedition and had no mood for such things, even if he were to seek out a woman, he certainly wouldn't be looking at Kashia or Frie right now.

These female warlocks would stop at nothing to preserve their family's bloodline, and since they were warlocks themselves, they had likely conducted specialized research into how to obtain the life seed of a male warlock and propagate their bloodline. Lei Lin wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they had developed specialized techniques or even dedicated spells for the purpose.

He had no confidence that mere bodily control and Chip's blocking measures would be enough to guarantee his bloodline wasn't stolen under the hands of these female warlocks.

If something really did happen and he ended up with a pile of offspring raised by another family, just the thought alone gave Lei Lin a headache.

Moreover, there was another concern weighing on his mind.

His bloodline had been purified through Chip, achieving an extraordinarily high purity—so pure it was approaching the very source of the bloodline itself. While it resided within him, his own strength and Chip's assistance kept it from showing any obvious signs of leakage, preventing anyone from detecting it. But a newborn infant would have no such protections.

If this anomaly were discovered, being kept under strict surveillance and spending his entire life as a breeding machine would be the lighter outcome. At worst, it could attract the greed of those Morning Star-level warlocks.

Who knew whether they possessed technology capable of stripping away a bloodline!

Therefore, until he achieved absolute security, his bloodline absolutely could not leak out—let alone produce any offspring.

"Still, having said that, if I advance to Morning Star in the future and want to establish a family on the Central Continent, these female warlocks might genuinely be my only option!"

Lei Lin rubbed his chin.

As a pure-blooded Komoin warlock, if he wanted to produce offspring with powerful strength, naturally the most suitable choice would be to reproduce with a female who was also a Komoin warlock.

As for an ordinary mortal woman or a female wizard, his bloodline would be immediately diluted by half—far too wasteful.

For bloodline warlocks, at the very beginning, the higher the bloodline concentration, the better.

These unscrupulous thoughts flickered through Lei Lin's mind once before he swept them all aside.

"The current me isn't at the stage to be thinking about such things yet!"

Lei Lin narrowed his eyes, basking in the purely natural sunlight on the deck, his eyes half-closed in pleasant warmth—while his thoughts had long since drifted off to who knew where.

......

For warlocks, a long journey was hardly any torment. At worst, they could spend every day meditating in their cabin, and the first-class service provided by the Feile family was quite excellent—at the very least, Lei Lin was thoroughly enjoying the food.

Due to environmental issues, the wine and delicacies of the Dark Poles couldn't compare to those found here.

But no matter how long the journey, it always came to an end eventually.

Boom!

The massive airship descended slowly, a vast circle of black shadow spreading outward across the ground before finally letting out a tremendous sound.

"This is the City of Sin docking station! Passengers disembarking, please form an orderly line and exit in sequence!"

The moment the airship came to a steady stop, a large number of porters and slaves immediately opened the rear cargo hold and began loading and unloading goods, while several ladders were lowered and passengers preparing to disembark here lined up to descend.

"We've finally arrived—the border of the Forgotten Lands, the City of Sin! Even the name is so unapologetic!"

Lei Lin's group, who had spent a full month transferring between multiple airships to reach this destination, mixed in among the other disembarking passengers.

Lei Lin gazed at the orange-red sun nearby and the grayish-brown crumbling city walls bathed in its light, sighing inwardly.

"Ding! Based on energy particle comparison, the energy particle concentration in the local atmosphere is 10–20% lower than the normal exterior concentration. Please take note, Host!"

The Chip issued its warning at this moment.

Both Wizards and warlocks achieved their spells by using their own energy to leverage the ambient energy particles. A low energy particle concentration would reduce spell power while increasing the consumption of a Wizard's Spiritual Power and mana. If suddenly confronted with such an environment, many Wizards would likely find themselves at a complete loss.

"The energy particle funneling effect of the Forgotten Lands has reached even this far!" Lei Lin sighed. "The destructive power of Morning Star Wizards truly is terrifying!"

Although the energy particle concentration was 20% lower than the outside world, it posed absolutely no problem for Lei Lin.

His homelands—the South Coast and the Dark Poles—had energy concentrations less than half that of the Central Continent. Casting spells in a thin energy particle environment had practically become second nature to Lei Lin.
