Shi Feng's sudden change immediately caught everyone's attention.
"Guild Leader, why do you look... smaller? Even your aura seems to have weakened a lot!" Huo Wu, ever observant, noticed the changes in Shi Feng right away.
Everyone else was a bit surprised as well, and when they glanced at Shi Feng's health bar, they were startled.
His health, which had been over 8,400, had dropped to just 1,700 — even a Level 20 ordinary player had far more than that.
"It's nothing. Just the weakened state after a burst. Plenty of Lord monsters experience something similar after they go all out. It'll wear off after a while," Shi Feng said with a smile.
Hearing Shi Feng's explanation, the others thought about it and had to admit it made sense.
If he could beat a Rare Lord into complete submission without suffering any aftereffects, that would just be too ridiculous.
After that, everyone continued picking up loot.
The drops from the thousand-plus werewolf warriors earlier were quite plentiful. They were only Elite monster drops, but with so many of them, the total value actually exceeded that of a single Lord monster kill.
Shi Feng also gathered all the drops from the Scarlet Shadow Fierce Wolf.
As for the three-hour weakened state, Shi Feng had already figured out part of the reason.
The Dragon's Power had already drastically boosted his stats, and when combined with the Sword Force from Blade Liberation, his body was suddenly forced to fuse two types of power at once. The strain was simply too much, which caused the weakened state's duration to increase exponentially.
"Looks like I shouldn't activate a double burst unless it's absolutely necessary," Shi Feng muttered, staring at the three-hour weakened state with a bitter smile.
A three-hour weakened state wouldn't normally be a big deal, but right now, with unknown dangers still ahead, an 80% stat reduction meant that even with his originally monstrous attributes, he was worse off than an ordinary player. If danger appeared, he'd just have to stand there and watch helpfully.
Fortunately, no danger had come along so far.
…
"Guild Leader, the monsters here are way poorer than the ones outside. Each werewolf warrior only drops a few silver coins, barely any weapons or armor, and most of what they do drop is common gear, with just a smattering of Bronze Rank," Hei Zi grumbled. He had gotten used to farming Lord bosses. Now, looking at Elite monster drops, he genuinely wasn't impressed.
"That's still pretty good, though. Before, I never had more than one gold coin on me. Just from picking up drops, I've got over two gold now, plus thirty-seven pieces of Level 25 Bronze Equipment and over a hundred pieces of common gear. Sell those Level 25 commons for six or seven silver each, and that's another six or seven gold coins," Fei Ying said. This was his first time adventuring with Shi Feng's small party, and seeing his inventory total exceed three gold coins had him practically buzzing with excitement.
If he had stayed outside White Mist Canyon farming, he'd probably just be grinding experience. Weapon and armor drops would be rare, and over 95% of those would be common gear.
"Guild Leader, what did that Scarlet Shadow Fierce Wolf drop? Let us see!" Water Rouge's interest in werewolf warrior loot was minimal — only Lord monster drops could pique her curiosity.
"Pretty decent, all told. Twelve pieces of weapons and armor, one mid-tier Strength Potion recipe, and the rest is materials," Shi Feng said, having just finished appraising all the drops. He smiled. "Among the twelve weapons and armor pieces, five are Dark-Gold quality — three weapons, one cloth armor, and one leather armor. The rest are Gold-grade. Take a look for yourselves."
Shi Feng sent out the data for all the weapon and armor drops.
"Holy crap, Rare Lords are just too broken — they can even drop gear this insane!" Hei Zi exclaimed after looking at the equipment, his excitement boiling over.
"Guild Leader, are your hands blessed or something? You can even get a weapon like this to drop!" Fei Ying stared at the weapon drops, his eyes nearly popping out of his head.
Among the three Dark-Gold weapons, one was a two-handed battle axe, and the other two were a pair of matching short swords.
Compared to the silvery-grey two-handed axe, the twin short swords were entirely blood-red, with sparks of flame flowing along their blades — like a pair of fairy maidens dancing amid fire, breathtaking to behold.
