This is a digest to commemorate the start of the manga adaptation (narration by Sharl).
When entering the Magrant Kingdom, he forcibly fast-forwarded the time of the gate guard who was demanding bribes, making it so the guard had supposedly worked three days straight without food or water. A real monster from the start.
He'd made a promise with that blond spiky-haired bastard in the border town of Calista—the one who kept badmouthing adventurers from small nations—but the guy never set a deadline, so the whole thing got left hanging for about three weeks.
In the next town, Dokan, he defeated a trio of thieves who'd come to steal a rare gemstone called the "Rainbow Drop" (hired by the Grandel Jewel Company) right at the dungeon entrance.
After signing a contract with Gilmas, who had tried to force the delivery of the "Rainbow Drop," he drove the gemstone's value into the ground. Since Gilmas ended up violating the contract, he was penalized and exiled from the town.
No idea where he is now.
He humored the blond spiky-haired bastard who went out of his way to chase him all the way to Dokan, but Alan, fed up with being mocked the entire time, cursed him with perpetual vomiting. Then it was off to the local specialty…
Apparently he was groped on a carriage heading to the town of Surmy. After being framed for it, he quickly found the real culprit, Tia, using [Mimicry], handed her over to the lord, and she was promptly executed.
He even turned down the lord's offer to serve in his court. What a waste.
At the guild, where everyone had gathered in anticipation of a stampede, he got accosted by an overconfident young adventurer named Eric, who had [Growth Speed ×10].
Alan crushed him in the deepest part of the dungeon. The guy had been appraising him without permission, so no sympathy there.
In the holy city of Forcelu, he took on a curse-removal job, lifted Glow's curse, and received one hundred million gold coins. That's outright robbery.
As it turned out, the Four Curse Kings who had placed the curse were called to heaven by Alan's curse reflection.
He took in three children who had been forced into extreme poverty because of their Jinx Skills, which was fair enough, but dumping them onto Therese, the saint from their homeland, was not okay.
Troubled by how Jinx Skill holders were treated, he disguised himself as a woman and infiltrated the church as a saint candidate.
When a priest immediately tried to grope him, he obliterated the man with the Flames of Judgment. Harassment will not be tolerated.
Since his true identity was exposed by someone with a skill that absolutely detects Jinx Skills, he turned the Pope into an ice statue out of sheer spite.
In a hidden chamber of the Hall of Supreme Heaven, he learned the circumstances of how he'd become a Jinx Skill holder.
He then spread those circumstances as "The Beautiful History of the Distant Church" series, plotting to ensure the church could never recover. Truly a monster.
To reach the royal capital of Ersid, Alan takes on an escort commission for Meiren, daughter of the Gambard Trading Company. On the way they're attacked by the Haidecker Band, but he drives them off.
He also crushes their hideout and obtains the Book of Skills. A demon with an iron club, as they say.
In the royal capital, he meets Harold, son of King Gies, and commissions him to spread the dark history of the Cruel Church.
He showed absolutely no mercy while kicking the corpses.
When the undeterred Cardinal sends assassins again, Alan freezes them in ice and fights them off, then marches straight to the Cardinal's quarters and razes the place to the ground.
As it happens, the assassin guild Pandemonium saw their frozen colleagues and reportedly made a firm vow never to get close to Alan.
Count Cleisia invites Alan to serve as a terrorism operative, but Alan not only refuses but strips him of his memories.
The steward put on quite a performance, and the count's household was saved as a result. One of Alan's rare good deeds, that.
At the White Slave Guild, where he was lured by a tout claiming a maid to his liking was there, Alan defeats both the tout and a man in black who tried to enslave him, then subjugates them in turn.
As for the specialist literature found there (authored by Agris), we shall make no mention of it.
He dodges a surprise attack by Sturte, the guild owner, with impressive reflexes, delivers a gut punch, then subjugates him.
This guy is way too into the collar of subjugation…
A week after leaving the obstinate Sturte in the care of the Kachou establishment's manager, Alan is utterly horrified by the transformed Sturte.
Someone please teach this guy about "user responsibility."
A handsome middle-aged man puts out a commission at the guild to gather information (on the people who were frozen), and in the process Alan finds a clueless young adventurer and escorts him to the hideout.
The lad mobilizes his Guaranteed Preemptive Skill and attacks fearlessly, but is unfortunately beaten back. The pitiful leader of the dark information guild is then subjugated.
An incident breaks out at the Volcania magic stone mines. Alan, forcibly conscripted, storms the mines alongside a knight order led by the tyrannical noble Douglas.
Heeding the warning of an adventurer from Canary, Alan tells the adventurers to rest and proceeds amiably into the depths with the knights (note: the black chain).
Along the way, inheriting the resolve of the knights who fell from exhaustion, Alan defeats the Jewel Beast lurking at the heart of the mine and claims a colossal gemstone.
Douglas, who failed to obtain it, was executed by the mastermind behind the scenes.
Grandol went looking into the matter of the gemstone, but since there was no way he could mention Alan, and the outcome was already clear, I took money from Grandol under the guise of an advance payment.
The wise "Pandemonium" apparently refused the request. Incredibly capable.
