One of them, a mohawk-haired man, glared at me while licking his blade.
He looked ready to stab me even without being brainwashed... but honestly, is this really the best crew they could round up?
Let me try hitting him with a status ailment removal spell.

A pale blue light enveloped the knife-licker.
"…Huh? Why was I about to do something like this…?"
The adventurer looked around at his companions, bewildered.
"Mm?! What are you doing?! Subdue the wretch at once! Weaken him, then apply my [Agitation] once more to make him one of us!"
Count Clasia commanded the other adventurers.
Not on my watch.
"[Deep Clearness - All]!"
I cast status ailment removal magic on all the shifty-looking adventurers in the area in one go.
"Huh? What was I…?"
"Overthrowing the nation... that's way too big for me..."
"I'm okay now... I've come back to my senses!"
One after another, the adventurers snapped back to themselves.
Now it was the Count's turn.
"W-Wait, you lot — are you insane?! You swore you'd join me in changing this rotten country!"
"............"
The adventurers who had come to their senses were dead silent.
"So what if you call yourselves the Three Great Prince-Electors — you're just hoarding all the power for yourselves! Are we supposed to just let you do as you please? We have no choice but to seize those positions for ourselves!"
If this guy became king, nothing would really change...
"What, so you just want power for yourself? Don't drag me into this. '"
Memory Erasure

"Guh, gyaaa! My memories — they're fading away... My head — it hurts like it's splitting apaaaart!"
The Count threw himself back so hard it looked like his spine might snap, then collapsed face-first and passed out.
I went ahead and erased his terrorism-related memories.
In exchange for just enough pain to knock him out.

Naturally, [Agitation] was bought out.
After that, I cast [Deep Clearness] on the other adventurers still remaining in the manor to break their brainwashing.
That should keep them from scheming for a while.
Actually, I'd appreciate it if they'd do that kind of stuff somewhere that has nothing to do with me.

The steward of the Claisia household was attending to the Count.

The Count, who had been rendered unconscious by the searing pain of the "]" spell, eventually came to.

The Count of Claisia sat up from the futon in his bedroom—where he had apparently been laid at some point—pressing a hand to his head.
"What exactly happened to me...?"

"A nightmare? What are you talking about?"
"You had been fed some manner of lies by unsavory individuals, my lord, and you were proclaiming, 'I shall usurp the Elector and become King one day!' You soared to dizzying heights with that fantasy. And then you began recruiting adventurers one after another as your fighting force."
"So then—why am I like this now? How did it come to this?"
"A certain concerned party intervened and cast a spell of dispelling. They told you that such ambitions could only lead to ruin, and they broke free of your delusions. You collapsed from the backlash."
All of it was fabricated by the steward.
No one had incited the Count, and no one had mercifully freed him from enchantment either.
