Wind blew, sending sand and grit flying in every direction.

"Hm?" Leisijing suddenly turned to look behind them.
"What is it?" Bei Bei asked, puzzled. Lin Lei noticed and turned to look back as well, but all they saw was desolate wasteland overgrown with wild grass—not a single soul in sight.
Leisijing frowned. "There seems to be someone."
The moment he finished speaking, Lin Lei sensed two auras bearing the same faction emblem from the distance behind them, hurtling toward them at extreme speed. He focused his gaze—from the barren, weed-covered terrain, eight figures suddenly burst forth and shot straight toward the four of them.
Two belonged to the Dark Divine Realm's side, and six to the Light Divine Realm's side.
But in this battle, allegiance no longer mattered.
"Montero!" Lei Hong's low voice rang out.
"Montero!" Leisijing's face changed. Boom! Violent black air currents erupted from his body surface. He activated the Sovereign's power without hesitation, and at the same time a long spear materialized in his hand.
