Leilin nodded, quite satisfied with the improvement.
The most important aspect of this transformation was that, through the absorption of Dream Power, his body had begun to adapt to this force — a prerequisite for casting Dream Wizardry.
At that moment, Leilin noticed that on his Elemental Affinity Chart, a strange red bar had appeared beneath his Shadow and Fire affinities, even surpassing his Ice affinity.
"Dream Power affinity?"
Leilin murmured, already understanding what it represented.
Affinity for elements, or attraction to a particular power, was the prerequisite for a Wizard to cast spells. And the degree of Dream Power affinity exceeded even his expectations.

Leilin stroked his chin.
Dream Power was extremely high-grade. If a Wizard specialized in it, their strength would increase rapidly. But Leilin wouldn't even consider it.
His own affinity was one factor, but more critically, the extreme unpredictability of Dream Power made him unwilling to take that gamble.
In Leilin's view, Dream Power was not only restricted by the world but also subject to terrifying fluctuations. If other energies fluctuated between roughly 1,000 and 1,500, then Dream Power could fluctuate between 1 and 10,000! This meant that a dream creature might be a weak insect one day and grow into an evil god the next.
And a creature that was an evil god one day could plummet to something worse than an insect the following day, due to a decline in Dream Power.
More critically, these changes followed no pattern whatsoever! They might never happen, or they might happen repeatedly — hopelessly unreliable.
Therefore, Leilin would use Dream Power only as a tool at most, never as his primary cultivation path.

Leilin walked to the center of the laboratory. Behind thick insulating glass sat a massive dark-red sphere — densely concentrated Dream Energy, all of it bound inside.
This was all the Dream Energy Leilin had collected over this period.
【Gate One, opening!】 Accompanying the Chip's announcement, a channel in the glass door opened a narrow gap.
The dark-red Dream Energy immediately wriggled out like earthworms, circling around Leilin with lively energy.
Once the Chip confirmed sufficient Dream Energy had been released, the valve shut mercilessly, blocking all remaining power inside.
"First-level Dream Wizardry — Eternal Radiance!" A complex, eerie Spell Model with constantly shifting energy nodes was transmitted directly by the Chip into Leilin's memory.
Accompanied by several incantations and the push of Soul Power, an ethereal spell template materialized in Leilin's hands.
The Dream Energy surrounding Leilin plunged into the template.
Boom! The wave of a first-level spell surged outward, and brilliant white light began flooding the entire laboratory.
