"Who is this?"
Leylin felt a surge of caution. Anyone who could conceal themselves from his senses to the point where he perceived them as ordinary was certainly not simple.
"Hehe... let me introduce you, Leylin. This is Bivis, the one I mentioned to you before! He is also the last Moonlight Wizard of our Bloodline Warlock Alliance!"
Following Geoffrey's introduction, the wizard Bivis lifted his head with a touch of pride. "Prince Leylin, is it not a breach of etiquette to receive guests in such a state?"
Leylin was taken aback, then glanced down at himself. His robes were in tatters from the earlier incident; it was indeed a bit discourteous.
"That was my oversight! My apologies! Please, let us go to the Black Serpent Castle not far from here. My wife is also there!"
Leylin offered a sincere apology and took the lead, with no intention of inviting the two to tour his current castle.
In Leylin's plans, this entire region was to be completely isolated and abandoned. After today's incident, he had developed certain doubts about its safety.
The invasion of the Dream Realm was silent and imperceptible, yet harbored immense terror.
Even a fifth-level Moonlight Wizard might not be able to effectively protect themselves under such an assault.
Until he fully mastered the power of the Dream Realm and gained the strength for self-preservation, Leylin planned to stay far from this place. He did not wish to joke with his own safety.
Seeing Leylin submit so readily and apologize, the smile on Geoffrey's face grew a bit warmer. After all, he did not wish to see conflict arise between the alliance's combat forces. Bivis, however, had a flash of surprise in his eyes, which he quickly concealed.
Noticing this, Leylin sighed inwardly. "This Bivis isn't as arrogant and brainless as he appears..."
Previously, Geoffrey had mentioned to Leylin that the sixth-level bloodline bearer they saw as the hope of all warlocks was the last fifth-level wizard whom he had not introduced at the time.
Leylin had assumed the other party was outside the Morning Star Space. He hadn't expected them to appear right before him now.
"Can he shield himself from my detection? Is this also a power granted by a sixth-level bloodline?"
Leylin scrutinized the warlock who possessed a sixth-level biological bloodline.
To Leylin's senses, a dense aura of bloodline power, like a thick mist, surrounded the other's body, blocking all external prying.
Perhaps it was precisely this ability that had allowed him to evade the hostility of most wizards, thereby growing to this point.
"Chip! Can you break through the opponent's bloodline barrier?" On the surface, Leylin chatted amiably with the two wizards, but secretly ordered the Chip to continue attempting to gather information on the warlock opposite.
[Ding! To obtain specific data on this target, the opponent's protective layer must be breached! This will attract their attention! Proceed?]
The Chip responded promptly.
"No!" Leylin certainly would not act so rashly; otherwise, it would definitely arouse the other's hostility.
"Bloodlines with concealment abilities are rare, even among sixth-level ancient ones... there are only a few such types..." Leylin stroked his chin and glanced at Geoffrey.
"Geoffrey should be a fifth-level creature with the ancient Bloodbat bloodline. But what about Beavis? Crystal Dragon? Or Mist Giant?"
Possibility after possibility surfaced in Leylin's mind, then went through the Chip's constant comparisons until the targets were narrowed down to the two most likely bloodlines.
Beavis, of course, had no idea that in such a short span of time, his background had been practically laid bare by Leylin. Throughout the journey, he had maintained a reserved composure at the side, listening to the conversation between Leylin and Geoffrey and occasionally interjecting a remark or two.
After the Dream World connection was established, Leylin had constructed another Black Snake Castle right beside his original one, transferring Freya and a number of other servants over to it.
Thanks to the unique properties of Morningstar Space, the land here was boundlessly vast, and Leylin had obtained a tremendous amount of land rights without any effort at all. As for the construction itself, once he had applied magical assistance and set a large number of giant metallic puppets to work, it was an exceedingly simple task.
Before long, in the parlor of the new castle, Leylin and his guests took their seats.
After the handmaidens served milk tea and refreshments, Freya stepped out briefly to make an appearance before withdrawing, leaving the space to the three warlocks.
Leylin toyed with the teacup in his hand, making no move to speak first.
He had not anticipated that Geoffrey would bring Beavis along. However, given that Leylin already knew about the existence of sixth-level bloodline holders, Geoffrey presumably had nothing left to conceal. This visit from Beavis likely also served to clear up any misunderstanding and ensure that no lingering resentment took root in Leylin's mind.
