"The energy signature on the other side isn't strong — at most, they have a single Liquefied Third-tier Wizard holding the fort! What do we do?"
A small white bird swooped down, and Kasha opened her previously closed eyes.
"Although they may already have received word about us, slipping in isn't a bad idea. But we need to get our hands on the maps and intelligence from their preliminary exploration…"
Robin let out a deep breath. "My subordinates only managed to pick up a few scraps of information from the outer perimeter. We know absolutely nothing about the interior structure of the Flowing Sand Fortress."
"Even if it's a trap, their squad is stuck inside the Silent Statue Magical Array. Even if they've set a trap here, they won't have many hands to spring it!"
Leilin stroked his chin and made his judgment.
"In that case, what do we have to be afraid of?" A vicious grin spread across Robin's lips.
Being hunted by the enemy, chased for so long, nearly driven right out of the secret realm — he'd been harboring a great deal of pent-up fury.
And every warlock present shared some version of that feeling.
*Pfft!*
A scaled hand suddenly thrust out from the void, plunging into the chest of a Bear Barbarian warrior opposite them and tearing out a still-beating crimson heart.
Drops of warm blood dripped steadily downward, plunging the surrounding wizards into dead silence.
"Now *this* is death! Beautiful, yet fleeting!" A Horalar Black Snake warlock in black robes squeezed his way out from a fissure in the shadows, his face wreathed in an expression of intoxicated rapture.
Wizards all suffered from some degree of mental instability, and warlocks were even worse.
The only reason they hadn't broken out before was the joint suppression of several Bloodline Nobles — but now?
The moment the attack order was given, the entire allied camp descended into chaos. Six Horalar Black Snake warlocks, plus a single Luoya, launched a massacre against every wizard they encountered — whether First-tier, Second-tier, or even mere apprentices.
The sheer horror of it immediately pushed certain wizards past their breaking point.
*Boom!* The centralmost building erupted in an explosion, and three grim-faced wizards materialized in midair, terrifying waves of Liquefied energy radiating from their bodies.
"Activate the formation!"
The centralmost wizard let out a sharp command. A ring of flickering luminescence appeared as massive runes chained together into an iron cage, locking down the entire camp.
"We knew you had something prepared. But only three Liquefied — where are the Crystallized Wizards? Did they all die?"
Just as the three Liquefied Wizards were about to descend and stop the enemy, black light erupted from the void. Robin, with Leilin and Kasha in tow, blocked their path, and the leading Robin let out a derisive snort.
There were no Morning Star Wizards in the Land of Forgotten Ones. Even in the massive powers like the Bear Barbarian Tribes, Crystallized Wizards were scarce.
Aside from the tribal leaders garrisoning the outside, sending a small squad to hunt down Leilin and the others had been the utmost they could manage — they'd even had to abandon a number of important territories to do it.
Once this squad was trapped, the secret realm would be left with almost no defensive capability.
After all, the wizards who'd entered before had come only to explore. Nobody had anticipated an enemy invasion.
"Just one Liquefied, plus two Gaseous Wizards? I, Dormor, will make sure none of you leave here alive today!"
A human wizard in black robes, his face marked with a cross-shaped pattern, lunged forward with startling speed, his Liquefied Spiritual Power erupting like a tidal wave.
"Is that so? But in the eyes of us noble warlocks, you are nothing but lambs waiting for slaughter!"
Robin's eyes blazed with an air of supreme arrogance. A terrifying pressure — something akin to dragon's might — erupted from his body.
At the same moment, identical waves of intimidation burst from Leilin and Kasha, merging together into a massive Field.
"Tier-3 Innate Spell — Terror Coercion!"
This was a formidable spell that only high-ranking warlocks who had reached the Third Tier could wield — one that already possessed power comparable to a domain. Moreover, even when ordinary Horalar Black Snake warlocks advanced to the Third Tier, the might of their spells would never approach the strength of Leilin and the other two, even if they too cultivated entirely according to the Comorin's Eye Meditation Method.
This power of intimidation was entirely based on bloodline. The greater the bloodline's concentration, the more potent the ancient aura it carried, and the more overwhelming the resulting terror.
"Third-type Magical Array! Joint Domain — activate!"
A beam of light erupted from Robin's body, linking with Leilin and Kasha to form a strange equilateral triangle pattern.
Under the influence of the Magical Array, the Fear Field emanating from the three of them began to subtly complement and amplify one another, coalescing into a force that was remarkably close to the true domain power of a Morning Star Wizard!
*Hiss! Hiss! Hiss!*
The roars of an ancient apex predator — the primordial Comorin Giant Serpent — echoed through the air. Behind Leilin and the other two, the void rippled continuously, giving rise to the phantom of a colossal serpent exceeding a thousand meters in length. Its amber eyes opened, vertical pupils fixated upon the three wizards before it, sending cold sweat cascading down their faces.
