"This situation must be some kind of possession spell!"
Seeing the gnome's state, the well-informed Leilin immediately understood.
"Old man, your body only has half-elementalized strength, and you think you can take me down?" Leilin said, acting nonchalant on the surface, while his right hand slipped into the pouch at his waist.
Boom!
Leilin tossed a few potions, which exploded on the giant's body, and a patch of purple flames began to continuously erode the giant's form.
"Negative energy flames? Trivial!" The giant shook its head, then opened its mouth as if creating a suction, and drew all the flames inside.
"Now, it's my turn!" The giant gave a satisfied burp, grinning at Leilin.
In an instant, the giant's body shot forward like a silver lightning bolt, arriving right in front of Leilin.
The massive frame, bulging muscles, and a faint, oppressive aura put immense pressure on Leilin.
Whoosh! The giant's skin took on a metallic silver sheen, and one arm lashed out like a steel whip. Leilin could only raise both hands to guard his chest as best he could.
Bang!
Leilin's body was sent flying like a cannonball, slamming hard into a wall and causing the building behind him to partially collapse.
Crash!! Rubble slid away, revealing Leilin's form.
"Main body's chest ribs fractured, multiple muscle tissues contused. Immediate treatment recommended!" The Chip's notification sounded.
"What tremendous strength, at least over 15! And with the bonus from his metallic talent..."
A blue light flashed in Leilin's eyes. "Chip, input arena information. Activate predictive mode!"
"Arena information input. Opponent data simulation in progress!" The Chip responded instantly, projecting a three-dimensional graphic before Leilin.
"Based on opponent's movement, the next attack has a 98.7% probability of coming from the right at 38 degrees!"
Whoosh! At that moment, the giant opposite him charged again.
"Optimal evasion: dodge 63 degrees to the left, jump backward!"
Leilin twisted his body, narrowly avoiding the giant's attack, and quickly leaped back.
Pfft!
Where Leilin had stood, numerous metal spikes half a meter long suddenly erupted from the ground. Had he still been there, he would have been dead.
To the onlookers, Leilin's movements were incredibly agile, executing a series of impossible dodges to narrowly evade several attacks.
"He can actually hold his own for this long against a half-elementalized wizard who uses both body refinement and magic!"
The leader, an old man, was breaking into a cold sweat. "I thought..."
"Thought he was just a newly promoted, easy-to-bully First-level Wizard, right?" a burly man beside him interjected. "Be grateful, old man! That you've survived this long is no small feat!"
On the other side of the battlefield, after Leilin dodged several times, the giant grew visibly more agitated. The human face on its left chest roamed, "Despicable! Damn insect!"
Then, the giant made a move.
It used its silver hand to tear open its own stomach and pulled out a metal ring-like object.
"Shackling Ring!"
A brilliant white light shot from the metal ring, instantly striking Leilin.
The moment the white light hit his body, Leilin was horrified to find that his body felt as if a mountain had been pressed onto it, unable to move a single step.
"Although this Magical Item is only medium-grade, it contains a trace of the legendary Shackling Ring's power! Even a half-elementalized Wizard struck by it will be paralyzed for at least one minute!"
The silver giant's abdomen was still bleeding profusely, even its intestines exposed, yet it paid no mind, stepping forward to grab Leilin by the neck. Its eyes held a mocking smile: "Now, try running again, kid!"
"It's over!"
A sigh rose from the surrounding crowd.
"Even if he could hold his own against a half-elementalized Wizard for so long, it doesn't change the fact that he himself is just a newly promoted Wizard! Plus, the other side has a medium-grade Magical Item!"
The white-bearded, spectacled old man in the bar no longer had the earlier pity in his eyes; instead, there was a hint of regret. "What a waste! He was a true Wizard genius!"
"Kid, speak your dying words!"
A cold smile appeared on the silver giant's face.
"The one who should be speaking his dying words is you!" A look of madness crossed Leinlin's face.
"Falling Star Descent, activate!"
A burst of dark red light emanated from Leilin's chest, quickly spreading to his limbs. Then, Leilin grabbed the giant's hands, his eyes suddenly changing to vertical slits, glowing with an amber hue and emitting a mysterious light.
