"Indeed! A formal wizard's inheritance is worth the breaking of our friendship!"
Jiamen said slowly.
"But that's not all!" Metal liquid crawled all over Posayin once more, forming a silvery-white armor. "If it were just some magic models or Green Dragon's Water, I wouldn't care much, but this is an inheritance from Noco Gulatu Fasel!"
A flush rose to Posayin's cheeks. "This is the Crimson Great Wizard!!! A fourth-level Morningstar Wizard's inheritance!!!!!"
"The Crimson Great Wizard?!" A look of understanding appeared on Jiamen's face. He had certainly heard the legendary stories of this great figure.
But in those legends, the Crimson Great Wizard mostly appeared under nicknames or titles. His true name was rarely known by anyone except freaks like Leilin, who devoured every book, and wizard nobles like Posayin, who had good inheritances.
"Now that you know the reason, you can go to your death contentedly!"
Posayin made no effort to hide the killing intent on his face. He suddenly swung his silvery-white longsword at Jiamen.
Whoosh!!! The tip of the longsword split open, and countless tiny silver needles shot towards Jiamen.
"Shield form!" Jiamen shouted, and more vines extended from the green badge, converging in front of him to form a huge green vine shield.
Clang-clang-clang!!! A multitude of tiny silver needles struck the vine shield like raindrops, leaving behind many small holes.
The tremendous impact forced Jiamen to retreat constantly, and a look of despair appeared on his face.
"Jiamen! I know all your tricks. Apart from Magical Items, what other trump cards could you have?"
Posayin didn't miss the chance to crush Jiamen's confidence.
"Leilin, attack together! Otherwise, we'll both die!!!" Jiamen backed up against a bookshelf and turned his head to shout at Leilin on one side.
"Leilin! Don't believe him. As long as you stay put, or even help me, I swear you will earn the friendship of the Lilisite Family!"
Listening to the recruitment from both sides, a hesitant expression flitted across Leilin's face. He then took two steps back and said fearfully, "No! I don't want any inheritance anymore. Just let me leave here..."
Hearing Leilin's words, Jiamen's face turned pale. He became flustered and exasperated, and even the vine shield started to crumble somewhat.
Posayin, however, burst into hearty laughter. "Haha... My Lilisite Family would absolutely welcome the addition of an apothecary like you, Leilin..."
"And Jiamen! You're finished!"
Immediately after, the longsword in Posayin's hand split again. Drops of liquid metal hovered in the air, then transformed into sharp spikes.
"With my blood..."
Seeing the opponent's attack, despair surfaced on Jiamen's face. He used his previous method again, smearing his own blood onto the green badge.
Instantly, the green vine shield became stained with blood, turning into a massive red shield.
"Your badge's energy is nearly depleted, right? Even using your blood as a substitute, how much longer can it last!"
Posayin shouted, and countless flying needles pierced towards Jiamen.
Boom!!!
The huge red shield exploded violently, and countless flying needles pierced through Jiamen's body.
Jiamen's entire body, covered in countless small holes, was bleeding, instantly dyeing his whole body red. With an expression of frenzy and regret, he slowly collapsed to the ground.
"Huff... huff..." Posayin's breathing was a bit heavy. He turned his body to face Leilin.
"Good! You didn't attack me with him just now!" Posayin pointed a finger at Jiamen in the pool of blood, a strange smile appearing on his face. "I, Posayin, heir to the Lilisite Family, the pride of Black Bone Forest, the Silver Sword, allow you to choose the manner of your death!!!"
As he spoke, a look of pity and mockery appeared in Posayin's eyes, as if a lion or tiger were toying with a rabbit it had just caught.
"Choose... the manner of my death..." Leilin forced a smile. "Lord Posayin, I don't understand what you mean!"
"My meaning is clear enough. You can only die here!" Posayin's expression was cold. "The inheritance of the Crimson Great Wizard is far too important. I cannot allow even the slightest possibility of the information leaking!"
"In truth, as a genius apothecary, you had a very bright future ahead. What a pity..." Posayin looked at Leilin, and a look of regret appeared in his eyes, as if he truly felt sorry for Leilin.
"Perhaps you can choose to do it yourself... It would be less painful..."
Posayin approached Leilin bit by bit, his voice becoming soft and persuasive.
Within his tone, there seemed to be a particular kind of magic, tempting Leilin to act according to his will.
Leilin's eyes went blank, and he muttered unconsciously, "I want to..."
"Just about to succeed!" A flash of joy crossed Posayin's face.
At this moment! Leilin suddenly looked up, revealing a brilliant smile and white teeth: "I want you to die!!!!"
Boom!!!
A streak of silver light instantly shot out from Leilin's hand, flying straight for Posayin's face.
A look of astonishment was on Posayin's face, but a mass of liquid metal automatically surfaced on his cheek, forming a white mask.
Click-clack!!! The silver light grazed the mask as it flew past, sending up a few sparks.
"A pity! It's also an instantaneous defense Magical Item!"
Leilin looked at the continuously retreating Posayin, a hint of regret and disappointment appearing on his face.
"You... that was all an act just now!" Posayin touched his already swollen face, his expression beginning to distort.
