Otherwise, why would I have laid all that groundwork—like the particle discovery? It's just that at this point, it's better to keep things short rather than drag them out. I need to pick up the pace, bring the threads back together, and wrap things up perfectly before most readers lose interest.
Rest assured, even so, the ending won't be rushed. I'll definitely tie up all the threads clearly, build the atmosphere properly, and make the finale hit with full impact.
