I'd originally planned to release the final make-up chapter today, so I could step into my new year of life without any outstanding debt. But as it happens, my brother came to Chengdu on business, so we celebrated my birthday early today. I had a little drink — and as everyone knows, my tolerance is laughable. So right now my face is flushed, my head is spinning, and there's simply no way I can write. The make-up chapter will be pushed to the 17th.
Before I knew it, I'm heading toward thirty. In just over an hour, I'll step into the twenty-ninth year of my life — and yet the scene of graduating from university still feels like it was just yesterday. Everything I experienced in the prime of my youth is still vivid in my mind.
The reason I say all this is really just to prove one point: I'm still young! My heart is still young!
Alright, enough joking. Let me sincerely wish myself a happy birthday. The past year wasn't bad, and in the new year I want to do even better — bring Arcane Magic to a perfect conclusion, write an even better new book, and... after listing all those wishes, I realize that apart from writing and my family's health, there's really nothing else I especially crave.
Tomorrow will still be two updates — at twelve-thirty and seven o'clock. Even on my birthday, I won't skip a chapter~
