The annual conference is over, and I only missed one chapter, which shows I'm still quite hardworking. Sure, I can't compare to those big-name authors at the venue who were furiously typing away on their laptops the whole time, but I more or less kept up with my updates — of course, I won't mention that a small handful among them were purely putting on a show. You can probably guess who with your toes, like Qingfeng, Banana, and such.
Because of the laptop issues, I could only hole up in my room writing while everyone else went out to have fun, and keep writing while everyone else was sleeping, which led to a serious sleep deficit. When I took that day off, I said I needed to readjust on the 17th — that's what I meant. I need to catch up on sleep.
I originally thought I'd be up by nine-something today, but I slept straight through until now. The midday update isn't going to happen, so I'll push it to seven and eleven-thirty tonight. Starting tomorrow, I'll go back to three updates a day — twelve-thirty, seven, and eleven-thirty — to make up the two chapters I owe.
