A new arc in a new world is about to begin — clashes with Night Watch powerhouses, Dark Council experts, false gods, and the like. But once I started writing, I realized my thinking had gotten muddled. I need to take a moment to sort out the outline, otherwise the quality of the plot will suffer.
The outline for this arc was actually already laid out, more or less — the discovery of a new continent in the Arcane world, with feathered serpent gods, Mayan pyramids, and all manner of things ready to crash in. But a while back, while reading through some other material, I had a sudden burst of inspiration, so I tore up the original outline for this section while keeping the main storyline intact. That left me with only a rough idea, and with the recent push to release extra chapters, I haven't had time to sort it all out and polish it. Forcing my way through would definitely lead to problems.
So, I'll push the remaining make-up chapter back by two days, and tomorrow there will only be one chapter at 11:30 PM. Please give me some time to get the story beats in order, rather than me phoning it in and half-assing things for you all.
Oh right — my phone broke and I'm looking to replace it. Any recommendations?
First, call quality needs to be good. The current Meizu M9 has terrible call quality — every time I answer a call, it takes half a minute to actually connect. That's the main reason I'm replacing the phone rather than getting it repaired, so any Meizu models are out.
Second, it needs to be portable enough to fit in a pants pocket. Anything with too big a screen probably won't cut it.
Also, I'm a lazy person — too lazy to flash custom ROMs, so Apple is out too. Beyond that, I'd like it to be good for reading novels, listening to music, and playing casual games. Oh, and battery life needs to be solid.
I've rambled on and on — anyone have suggestions?
P.S. I actually used to know quite a bit about phones and mobile tech, but these past few years of writing have completely killed that hobby of mine. I haven't swapped phones in two or three years and have been left behind by the times. *tears streaming*
