Successfully completed Part Three, a transitional arc introducing the world-building and arcane magic settings. Reader reception has been steady, which put the author's nerves at ease.
Acknowledged that some readers would struggle with the premise. Expressed frustration that many kept asking questions already answered in the text — about differences between the magical world and the real world, the nature of souls, etc. — but explained that dumping the full setting document would spoil the story's sense of discovery.
The last twenty-odd chapters of this part were deliberately somber, even more so than Lucian's time as a prodigy musician in Altor. This is by design — constrained by his current level of arcane power. Everything will change upon his return.
Part Four covers extensive plotlines, so the author is taking a day off to finalize the outline. Updates resume tomorrow evening. Tonight, the author will post a compiled list of spells Lucian has constructed within his soul in the "Related" section, rather than including them in the main text.
