"Hahaha, the Heavenly Sound Sect's Minor Seven Star Formation is nothing!" The Corpse Charm laughed maniacally. His body vanished abruptly and reappeared beside the female Overseer, grabbing her by the neck and lifting her up.
The Overseer struggled desperately, but her life force rapidly drained away. In moments, she turned to ash.
"To dare commit violence within our Heavenly Sound Divine Sect is unforgivable!" A deep voice resonated from the void.
A woman descended from the empty sky, hovering in mid-air. She wore pristine silk robes that fluttered in the wind, radiant with a brilliant light that made her seem like a goddess descending from the heavens, solemn and majestic.
"Immortal Lingxu, it's been a while!" the Corpse Charm laughed wildly. "We're old acquaintances, aren't we? I hope you've been well!"
"Hmph, spare me your drivel!" Immortal Lingxu's pale hands swiftly formed seals. Rays of sword energy materialized out of thin air around her.
"Immortal Lingxu, your talent was always inferior to mine. Back when I was at the seventh level of the Dragon Path Realm, you were only at the first. Now I am at the peak of the Dragon Path Realm. And you think you can face me alone?" the Corpse Charm roared with laughter. "If you come over and obediently call me 'husband,' perhaps I'll show some pity and spare your life."
"Hmph, let's see how long you can remain so arrogant." Immortal Lingxu gave a cold snort and waved her right hand. *Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh* - streaks of sword light shot towards the Corpse Charm with terrifying pressure.
The Corpse Charm was suddenly struck with shock, his face showing disbelief.
