Chapter 250. Zhulong

January 17, 2020 · 5 min read · 1,046 words

On the eighth layer of the Ninefold Death Ground, a dark cloud descended, layer upon layer of pressure creating a suffocating sensation that forced the Golden Armored Guardian God hovering in the void to retreat several steps. Immediately after, a mysterious force extended toward the Black Flame Tower.

This force was filled with terrifying killing intent.

Just as the force reached toward the Black Flame Tower, an invisible power struck it head-on.

Boom!

A terrifying explosion echoed throughout the entire eighth layer of the Ninefold Death Ground.

"Zhulong, now that you've come, why not at least say hello?" The Master of the Nether Domain materialized from thin air, gazing ahead.

From within the dark cloud, a handsome man slowly revealed his form. He stood suspended in the air, a faint white glow emanating from his body, like a solitary candle burning in the darkness.

"Ming, I didn't expect we'd meet again so soon." The man called Zhulong by the Master of the Nether Domain had an expression as cold as ice that had never thawed across the ages, his features sharp as if carved by a blade.

"I wonder what brings you here?" The Master of the Nether Domain stood in the air, his bearing calm and composed.

"Ming, back then when you sheltered those humans who entered the Nether Domain World, our Demon Race chose not to hold it against you — not because we feared you, but because we didn't want to damage relations. I know the Feather God Sect stands behind you. After the great battle at Spirit City in the Dragon Ruins Domain, the Demon God Sect crushed the Feather God Sect. You should know which way the balance tips — whether you still want to keep fighting against our Demon Race in the Small Exquisite World!"

"No matter how heated the fighting gets out there, what does that have to do with us? This is the Small Exquisite World. We don't care how powerful the Demon God Sect is — their people can't get in anyway. At least in the Nether Domain World, on this little patch of land, I'm still the one who calls the shots. The Ninefold Death Ground has long been under my Nether Domain's jurisdiction. No matter how fierce the war between the Demon Race and the Human Race gets in the main world, it has nothing to do with me. But in the Nether Domain World, no matter how powerful your Demon Race may be, you will follow the rules of the Nether Domain!" The Master of the Nether Domain shot Zhulong a dismissive glance.

Zhulong looked at the Master of the Nether Domain and let out a cold snort. "And if I don't?"

"Then I'll have no choice but to drive you out." The Master of the Nether Domain's face was hidden beneath his black hood. His emotions were unreadable. Across the entire Nether Domain World, endless law power surged like a storm, creating a suffocating pressure.

The Master of the Nether Domain had cultivated the Nether Domain World for hundreds of thousands of years. The density of the Law of the Nether here was dozens — even hundreds — of times greater than elsewhere. Within this domain, the Master of the Nether Domain was the absolute sovereign!

"Hahahaha." Zhulong burst into wild laughter. "Ming, you really haven't changed — still as arrogant as ever! But things aren't what they used to be. If you still refuse to see reason, then don't blame me for being harsh. Hand over Yu Yan, who's been hiding in the Nether Domain World, and I'll let this matter drop. Otherwise…"

"Zhulong, you dare spout such arrogance in my Nether Domain World — who is really the more brazen one here?" The Master of the Nether Domain gazed coldly at Zhulong.

The law power of both sides had already begun to clash. The entire eighth layer of the Ninefold Death Ground was filled with two terrifying streams of law power, and the explosions from their collision swept through everything around them.

"Your cultivation has improved quite a bit since our last fight!" A cold smile crept across Zhulong's lips. Around him, endless Profound Ice Law power coalesced into countless ice dragons that roared and surged toward the Master of the Nether Domain.

"And so has yours." Around the Master of the Nether Domain, the Law of the Nether transformed into tens of thousands of black spears that shot toward Zhulong.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The entire eighth layer of the Ninefold Death Ground was torn asunder in every direction — a scene of total destruction.

The ground was swept by terrible explosions everywhere. Some of the demonic creatures on the eighth layer were swallowed by the horrifying blasts before they could even attempt to dodge.

Of the entire eighth layer, only the Black Flame Tower still stood intact. The Golden Armored Guardian God charged with guarding the tower had already been gasping for breath under the pressure of the two peak powerhouses the moment they appeared. When the explosions swept through, he was sent hurtling through the air, his golden armor shattered, his body covered head to toe in wounds.

Neither Zhulong nor the Master of the Nether Domain moved an inch, both standing motionless in the void. They merely pushed their law power against each other. The Profound Ice Law power blanketed everything in a thick layer of frost, instantly transforming the entire eighth layer of the Ninefold Death Ground into a frozen world.

The power of ice pressed relentlessly toward the Master of the Nether Domain.

The Master of the Nether Domain furrowed his brow slightly. His Law of the Nether power gathered together, but it occupied only about a third of the space. Zhulong's rate of growth had far exceeded his imagination. The Zhulong of today was someone he could no longer match.

A thought suddenly struck him. The Master of the Nether Domain stared at Zhulong and spoke in a deep voice, "You've already condensed the Seven Lotus?"

"That's right. Ming, if you're willing to submit to me, the Small Exquisite World will be ours to rule together. But if you insist on pointless resistance, then I'll have no choice but to eliminate you!" Zhulong said coldly.
