Lin Lunzou's eyes snapped open.
The Immortal formation was sounding an alarm — someone was intruding!
"What gall, daring to invade my Lin family's Skeleton Mountain!" Lin Lunzou was both shocked and furious. He hurriedly probed the situation.
What he saw was an Immortal Gu house ramming violently against the protective Immortal formation.
"Wenjin Dock! The Fang family!!" Lin Lunzou's face was grave as he simultaneously sent an urgent distress call to the Lin family while fully activating the grand protective formation.
Since the Fang family's uprising, the Lin family had reinforced the Immortal formations at many of their resource points, almost all of which possessed teleportation capabilities.
Because of this, Lin Lunzou was not panicking.
His brows were tightly knit, his fighting spirit surging: "Since the Fang family has been lying in wait for so long and suddenly attacked us, they must be fully prepared. I alone am no match for the entire Fang family, but I can use the Immortal formation to stall for as long as possible. Once the Fang-punishing alliance army arrives, the Fang family will surely regret this."
"Of course, if the situation deteriorates beyond recovery, I'll immediately use the formation to teleport myself out... Hmm?!"
Lin Lunzou was operating the grand formation when suddenly his eyes widened, and a hint of panic leaked through.

The Fang family's Immortal Gu house attacks had set the entire Skeleton Mountain into turmoil.
The countless skeletal figures originally embedded motionlessly within the rock had, as the mountain shook violently, torn themselves free and were now charging madly through the terrain.
The skeletons clashed with one another, fought and slaughtered indiscriminately — utter chaos.
Lin Lunzou had by now activated his killing move, his appearance transforming drastically as he became a great mammoth skeleton, charging through the mountain.
He blended seamlessly among the countless skeletons, utterly unremarkable.
But the respite did not last long. Wisps of water vapor, like ropes, coiled around his body.
"Lin family friend, why the rush to leave?" A voice then drifted into Lin Lunzou's ear.
Deservation washed over Lin Lunzou in an instant: "An Eighth Transformation Gu Immortal? You're not from the Fang family!"
The next moment, the water-vapor ropes erupted violently, binding Lin Lunzou up tightly.
Lin Lunzou struggled frantically, but his vision went black, and he lost consciousness.
News of the attack on Skeleton Mountain, a border resource point of the Lin family territory, quickly reached the Lin family's main headquarters.
Then the Lin family notified the Fang-punishing alliance.
