"It's charging at us!"

"Block it quick!!"

"Push the Jingu Pavilion's power to its max!"

Si Xunzi's heart lurched. He drove the Jingu Pavilion until it hummed with fury, thick green smoke billowing from the screen inside, and the pillar of light it shot forth nearly solidified into something tangible.

The Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot bore down on the Jingu Pavilion.

"Ram straight through." Fang Yuan sneered, standing proudly at the bow.

But in that instant, the Jingu Pavilion's desperate resistance ground the Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot almost to a halt.

"A killer move—Deceleration? Break it." Fang Yuan knew this technique well. At his command, the silver halo enveloping the Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot suddenly condensed.

Tsss!

With a soft hiss, the Jingu Pavilion's killer move shattered. The Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot's speed returned to normal, and then, with a thunderous boom, it slammed into the Jingu Pavilion.

The Jingu Pavilion was not built for defense. It had already been damaged once before by Fang Yuan's own hand. Now, facing a harder and faster Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot, it crumbled on the spot.

The roof blew off. The pillars snapped. The screens shattered. The foundation collapsed.

Si Xunzi vomited great mouthfuls of blood and, with splash after splash, tumbled into the River of Time.

Without the Jingu Pavilion's protection, Si Xunzi had completely lost the ability to fight back against Fang Yuan. Before long, they were all killed.

They had been Seventh Transformation cultivators, and like Liu Hao, they had never joined the Heavenly Court, preserving their own immortal apertures.

Their Immortal Gu, however, had already been destroyed.

Fang Yuan had just retrieved their corpses along with the scattered Immortal Gu when Heng Zhou arrived.

Standing aboard Heng Zhou was the Eighth Transformation Gu Immortal Qing Ye. Seeing the corpses of Si Xunzi on the deck of the Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot, his face changed drastically. "Fang Yuan, you demonic wretch! I'll make you pay for this in blood!"

Fang Yuan turned his head and smiled coolly. "Another one come to die."

Without a word, the Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot shrouded itself in silver light, currents surging beneath its hull, and charged straight at Heng Zhou.

Its ferocious charging posture immediately threw the Gu Immortals aboard Heng Zhou into a panic.

Veins bulged on Qing Ye's forehead. He hesitated for a moment, then still gave the wise command: "We avoid the brunt for now. Don't try to fight this Eighth Transformation Immortal Gu House head-on."

Though Si Xunzi had fallen, battle reports had been relayed in time. Both Fairy Zi Wei and Qing Ye already possessed considerable intelligence on the Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot.

But could Heng Zhou simply flee? Not so easily.

The Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot's speed surged, actually breaking past its previous limit, growing faster and faster.

This Immortal Gu House, though called a flying chariot, was actually ship-shaped. Now it resembled a silver meteor, streaking along the surface of the River of Time!

Heng Zhou was shaped like a tower ship, far larger and more imposing than the Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot. It tried to dodge, but its speed was too slow—how could it possibly get out of the way?

BOOM!

A deafening crash. Heng Zhou shuddered twice, and a massive hole was punched clean through its forward hull, visible from both sides.

Fang Yuan's Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot had smashed straight through Heng Zhou!

"How is that possible?!"

"Just now, Heng Zhou had already activated its strongest defenses—yet it couldn't withstand a single blow from Fang Yuan?!"

The reality was so horrifying that Qing Ye's eyes nearly bulged from their sockets.

"My lord, that bastard Fang Yuan is charging again!" The Gu Immortals inside Heng Zhou cried out in alarm.

Before the words had even faded, with another thunderous boom, the Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot punched through Heng Zhou once more.

Heng Zhou lurched violently. Qing Ye stumbled, barely keeping his footing. The fighting spirit in his heart crumbled even further—how were they supposed to fight like this?

The Gu insects aboard Heng Zhou had suffered catastrophic losses. A few more impacts and the whole vessel would break apart.

Many Gu Immortals had gone deathly pale, cold sweat beading on their foreheads. Fortunately, at that moment, they heard Qing Ye's command: "Retreat!"

Heng Zhou swung its bow about and withdrew resolutely.

"Think you can get away?" Fang Yuan sneered.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot pierced through Heng Zhou again and again. Heng Zhou deployed killer moves to resist, but Fang Yuan had long since prepared countermeasures.

Know your enemy, know yourself, and you need never fear a hundred battles.

As long as the Heavenly Court didn't undergo some massive upheaval, Fang Yuan was certain to be the final victor!

This battle had been decided from the very start.

So when Heng Zhou was finally smashed apart and Qing Ye tumbled into the River of Time, no one on Fang Yuan's side batted an eye.

"Kill him!" Before Fang Yuan even needed to give the order, multiple Gu Immortals aboard the chariot shouted out in unison.

Murderous intent boiled over. The Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot dove into the river like a predatory shark, ramming toward Qing Ye.

Qing Ye poured everything he had into his defensive measures.

But within the River of Time, as a Dark Path Gu Immortal, he was suppressed to the absolute limit.

BOOM!

The Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot smashed clean through his black shield, sending him hurtling through the water.

Qing Ye vomited blood, fighting through the searing pain as he desperately tried to breach the river's surface.

When the surface was already in sight, he was horrified to discover that the Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot had been waiting for him all along.

BOOM!

Another tremendous crash—the Myriad-Year Flying War Chariot's hull smashed directly onto Qing Ye's forehead.

A massive dent caved into Qing Ye's brow, his whole vision going black. The tremendous force rippled through his entire body—his spine, his ribs, all of them snapping.

Glug! Glug!

Massive quantities of River of Time water poured down his throat.

The tremendous impact drove him deep into the river like swatting a rubber ball.

"He's still not alive?!" Bing Yuan clicked her tongue, astonished by Qing Ye's tenacious vitality.

"Then one more time!" The Stone Man Supreme Grand Elder's eyes burned red, drunk on the killing.
