The Supreme Immortal Aperture was still filled with peace and quiet.
Because there were no significant changes in celestial phenomena—not even the cycle of day and night—tranquility was the dominant theme here.
Fang Yuan was a Seventh Transformation cultivator, and his Supreme Immortal Aperture could only be considered a Blessed Land in grade. Blessed Lands had never exhibited changes in celestial phenomena. Only when approaching the threshold of advancing to a Cave Heaven, or upon successfully establishing one, would an immortal aperture manifest such changes.
Though there were no celestial phenomena, the Supreme Immortal Aperture was far from dead and silent—it brimmed with vitality and energy.
The Lesser Northern Plains was relatively cold, especially at its northern end, which remained a vast stretch of snow, completely barren. The absorbed Han Dong Blessed Land now served as a resource point for raising Spirit Snakes, managed by the pink Spirit Snake Earth Spirit. Additionally, there was the Bone Burial Ground, which housed a vast quantity of immortal bone materials. At the southern end, Fang Yuan was planning to lay out a blood-red grassland, built on Blood Sickle Grass and Red Axe Flowers, to accommodate Pollen Rabbits, fox packs, wolf packs, and so on.
In the Lesser Central Continent, there were the Blood Mushroom Forest and the Mirror Willow Forest—both accumulated by Fang Yuan unintentionally, without deliberate cultivation, left to develop on their own, so neither had grown to a large scale. There was also a small Swirling Light Pit, which held some mortal Gu of the Light Path.
The Lesser Western Desert's key features included the Dark Fire Dragon Python pit, the Sand Gull Earth Beach, the Rotting Black Swamp, the Mud Swamp, and the Black Dog Hills (the former Liu Yong Blessed Land, home to the Black Curly Dog Earth Spirit). Additionally, a new Mortal Gu House had recently been added—the Corpse Ground City, which Fang Yuan had obtained from the Transposition Desert in the Western Desert. Most of the immortal materials within had been traded to the Thousand Transformations Ancestor's will, leaving very little behind.
The Lesser Eastern Sea was no longer the shallow waters of before—it now held a genuine hint of ocean. Especially the two great sea regions: the Dragon Scale Sea and the Wuyi Sea. The former was a large-scale resource point that Fang Yuan had painstakingly constructed in the Southern Border, expending enormous wealth and effort. The latter was the absorbed Wuyi Sea Blessed Land, managed by the Sea Turtle Earth Spirit for Fang Yuan, home to three Ancient Desolation Beasts—the Horn God Turtles—a grove of Ancient Desolation Plants—the Silent Coral—and six Desolation Beasts—the White-Faith Blue Feather Gulls.
Beyond the two great sea regions, there was also a Blood Lake, not large in scale. It had been originally established when Fang Yuan was repairing the Blood Capital Immortal Gu and had been preserved ever since. The lake water was mixed with vast quantities of Desolation Beast and Gu Immortal blood.
Beneath the Blood Lake lay the shallow seas, all meticulously arranged and partitioned by Fang Yuan, where he raised Bubble Fish, Sanwen Carp, Bluefish and Crucian Carp, Blood Jade Crucian Carp, and more. There was also an Ancient Desolation Beast—the Hidden Beauty Clam—which Fang Yuan had once seized from the Eastern Sea.
The Reverse Flow River, one of the Secret Realms of Heaven and Earth, had also been temporarily set aside here by Fang Yuan.
The Lesser Southern Border was the most highly developed of all the regions.
It contained Five Light Mountain, Immortal Successor Mountain, Dragon Formation Hill, Heaven Sealing Mountain, and over a dozen other nameless peaks, as well as the Spider Caves and the Stalactite Caves. Stone People lived in small numbers throughout the mountains and underground, while the vast primeval forests were home to Quli Wood, Tea Creek plants, Anger Birds, and more—forming a rigorous, self-sustaining ecosystem brimming with life.
In the Little Nine Heavens, the Little Scarlet Heaven housed a large number of Year Beasts, along with that Primordial Year Monkey.
The Little Orange Heaven had recently received Fang Yuan's focused attention. It contained Light Illumination Fungi, which were causing the aurora to continuously expand. Within the aurora, Flowing Light Fruits were also growing more numerous.
The Little Yellow Heaven was extremely vast, containing only a small section of the Broken Gold River.
The Little Green Heaven was completely empty, though it had once housed Fang Yuan's Dream Realm.
The Little Azure Heaven contained Danqing Incense—the food for the Soul Exchange Immortal Gu—a batch of which Fang Yuan had stockpiled long ago. There was also a Sky Crystal Storage Pool located in the very center of the Little Azure Heaven, though sadly it served no purpose.
The Little Blue Heaven was the most highly developed of the nine heavens. It contained vast quantities of Cloud Earth, upon which many Star Path resources were planted—Arrow Bamboo Forests, Star Dust Pastures, Meteorite Cluster Pits, and more. There was also a floating Star Dust Continent, the remnant of Yelu Qunxing's Blessed Land, absorbed by Fang Yuan and managed by the Star Core Earth Spirit.
Oh, and there was a Falling Star Dog pup here, eating, drinking, and sleeping the days away. It was all alone and quite lonely, but placing it elsewhere would inevitably lead to conflicts with other Desolation Beasts and Ancient Desolation Beasts. Once Fang Yuan had taken it in, he rarely paid it any further attention.
The Little Violet Heaven teemed with eagle beasts—both Desolation Beasts and Ancient Desolation Beasts, which Fang Yuan had ruthlessly purchased during the Dream Realm battle by selling off his own Immortal Gu. They had once aided Fang Yuan in enslaving the Upper Extreme Heaven Eagle, helping him survive a life-or-death crisis—their contribution could not be overlooked. Fang Yuan had briefly considered selling them off, but doing so would certainly not net him Immortal Gu in return, effectively a losing sale. As it happened, over eighty eagle nests had been seized from the Black Family's headquarters in the Northern Plains. While not as premium as Sky Crystal Eagle Nests, they were perfectly suited for these eagle beasts to nest and breed.
In the remaining two heavens: the Little White Heaven contained an Eagle Dog Pack, three Ancient Heavenly Crippled Dogs, and a large-scale plantation of Colorful Overlord Flowers. The Little Black Heaven, due to its total absence of light and unique environment, now held only those few Ancient Desolation Plants—the Walking Flesh Trees.
Estimating the value of these assets, Fang Yuan could already rival some Eighth Transformation Gu Immortals.
But for the immortal aperture as a whole, these resources were still remarkably sparse.
Why?
Because the Supreme Immortal Aperture was simply far too vast. With over five hundred million mu of space, these resources occupied only a tiny fraction of the aperture.
If the entire Supreme Immortal Aperture's space were considered as one hundred, then Fang Yuan had currently developed only about three.
A three-percent development rate.
This was, of course, not a bad thing—it was an excellent thing.
The Supreme Immortal Aperture possessed incomparable potential for development, but on the other hand, when it might reach one hundred percent, even Fang Yuan had no certainty. This was absolutely an extraordinarily arduous, time-consuming super-project!
Throughout history, Gu Immortals had developed a standardized system for evaluating the development of immortal apertures.
It was divided into seven detailed levels.
The first level was the construction of mortal-grade resources—producing mortal Gu, mortal-grade Gu materials, and ordinary beasts and plants.
These resources were typically measured by scale. Mortals raising mortal Gu usually kept only five or six. Gu Immortals raising mortal Gu released millions upon millions, even tens of millions. As for the Year Gu that Fang Yuan had recently sold, the quantity had long since exceeded one hundred million.
The second level was the construction of immortal-grade resources, producing immortal materials. The standard for success at this level was enabling a Gu Immortal to self-sufficiently feed their own Immortal Gu, preventing them from starving to death.
The third level was establishing an ecosystem, raising immortal beasts and immortal plants.
The fourth level was using surplus immortal materials, immortal beasts, and immortal plants for external trade—exchanging what was needed, or turning a profit.
