First, I fixed a bug.

"黑莬" was incorrect — it was a bug.

I've now unified it to "黑菟" instead.

"黑菟" is the name I always intended for the White Rabbit Girl's other personality.

"莬" is a type of plant, while "菟" means tiger. Everyone should be familiar with Lü Bu's Hare horse. Why would such a formidable mount be given the name "Red Hare"?

Actually, there's a theory that goes like this: originally, it wasn't called the Red Hare (赤兔), but rather Red Tiger (赤菟). "兔" means rabbit, while "菟" means tiger. Lü Bu's original mount was supposed to be "Red Tiger" — the Red Tiger. Due to interchangeable characters or other reasons, it gradually became known as the Red Hare.

I personally lean toward this theory.

So, "黑菟" means Black Tiger, which forms a striking personality contrast with the earlier "White Rabbit." You've all seen her signature killer move today — "Tiger Lick."

I'll be honest with you all — this is a Food Path killer move.

Why did I choose this name?

"Tiger Lick" corresponds to "Tiger Devour," but it lacks the latter's overwhelming dominance. Instead, it has a sense of cunning and insidiousness. It's very fitting for the character of Black Tiger.

Now let me talk about why there's a bonus release today.

Why a bonus release?

To give back to the readers who have always supported me.

Ever since I went full-time last month, I've fallen into a predicament.

It's mental fatigue and irritability.

Because I lock myself at home all day, racking my brains over plot development and such, from morning to night. Over time, it becomes very depressing, very oppressive.

My condition kept getting worse.

I realized this couldn't go on — it would only destroy me. So I made an effort to adjust, to get out more, to interact with society more. Gradually, I got back on track.

During this period, some people questioned me, denied me, mocked me. Honestly, I don't really care — after all these years, I'm used to it. But when they insulted the friends who have always supported me, that was something I couldn't tolerate.

I once made this analogy in a book review: some of our readers are like elementary school classmates of mine — we share four or five years, or two or three years of friendship. No matter how things go with this book, we've always supported each other along the way. Even when my condition was at its worst, even if Zhen Ren wrote the worst garbage, we were always together. Just like the first elementary school I attended — even though it's been abandoned and demolished, those of us who were classmates there often glance at the spot when we pass by. It's a purely instinctive reaction. We might even peer through the old iron gate at the desolation inside.

Yes, what I'm talking about is sentiment.

Some might find this word unpleasant — do you have to be so cheesy?

Then I'll say this: you don't understand our kind of sentiment. You don't understand how we fought tooth and nail when we faced all kinds of accusations and ridicule.

Of course, I warmly welcome new friends. I'd love to see our harmonious and united community grow even larger.

Today's update is dedicated to you, my friends.

I know — you've always been there.

To be continued.
