<>Talented One Second Remember Network. Providing you with wonderful novel reading.
Reverend Insanity has been writing for four or five years now.
The process has been full of ups and downs — it truly hasn't been easy.
There have been periods of missed updates, weekly updates, monthly updates — it happened often. But I persevered. Even when I was earning absolutely nothing, I kept writing.
The reason I write this book is driven more by a dream than anything else — I wanted to write a different kind of protagonist, a rather unique novel.
During this time, the insults, curses, and report abuse were beyond counting. I went from being upset and frustrated, to furious, to finding it laughable, and now I've reached a state of calm indifference.
Oh, I got reported again.
Oh, someone cursed me out again.
Oh, someone's unhappy again.
I suppose that counts as a form of growth.
In the first half of this year, this book's performance improved somewhat, and I finally earned some income. Of course, it's nothing compared to those other authors out there.
Part of that is because I increased my update frequency, and part of it is because all of you dear readers pitched in — voting together, rallying together, cheering together.
Reverend Insanity isn't just my book. It belongs to all of you too.
Thank you, everyone. I truly mean it.
Thank you to my Alliance Leaders, thank you to the Grandmasters, Sect Leaders, Elders, and Helmsmen, thank you to everyone who supports legitimate reading.
Thank you to everyone who clicks the ads on my WeChat official account.
Thank you to everyone who has sent tips and rewards.
Thank you to everyone on the Tieba forums, QQ groups, and WeChat groups — those who give me suggestions, cheer me on, care about me, and care about this book.
Thank you to everyone who votes for me. I know many of you even created multiple alt accounts just to cast votes for me.
And thank you to all those who, during this time, switched from pirated to legitimate copies. That change of yours holds a power that moves me deeply.
I still have much to improve in terms of my writing. But you've all been so tolerant and expectant of me, and I naturally don't want to let anyone down.
I will keep writing.
With everything I've got, pouring in all my effort.
Sometimes I revise the outline, just to express the dream in my heart a little more perfectly.
The future will certainly bring more hardships, more ups and downs, more twists and turns.
But I will persist, doing everything in my power, until I complete Reverend Insanity.
Then, many years from now.
We'll look back on it.
Reverend Insanity will be right there. Quiet. Still.
Whether great or small, it will be there.
Perhaps by then no one will care about it anymore, like youth slipping away, covered in dust.
But it will stand apart, utterly unique.
It once brought us laughter and tears, of course along with complaints and furrowed brows.
And then, in passing, when it's mentioned or remembered,
Perhaps we'll smile just a little.
If I can earn that knowing smile from all of you, that is enough to satisfy me for a lifetime.
Thank you, everyone.
