Fang Yuan took a look. The list contained quite a variety of Gu materials, though the vast majority were mortal-track ones. There were some immortal materials, but very few.
Fang Yuan knew perfectly well — if he had returned the Ice Jade and Jade Marrow and such, the reward would have been far more than this.
Wu Yong and Wu Fa were actually putting on a show. Not to scheme against Fang Yuan, but rather to give him a way to save face.
Although Fang Yuan's excavation of Guanghan Peak hadn't crossed any explicit red line, the Wu family would still prefer to have the original Guanghan Peak restored.
But Fang Yuan, as expected, did not hand it over. He was silent for a moment before saying: "Would it be possible to exchange all of these rewards for a single type of mortal-track Gu material — Dragon Scale Soil?"
Wu Yong was slightly taken aback and glanced at Wu Fa.
The latter thought it over for a moment, then nodded.
Back in his own residence, Fang Yuan resumed secluded cultivation.
This time he had obtained a great deal of Ice Jade, as well as Jade Marrow. With these, Fang Yuan could practically rebuild a miniature Guanghan Peak within the Little Southern Border of his Supreme Immortal Aperture.
However, that was not the point.
The point was the Dragon Scale Soil.
This peculiar soil was only an ordinary Gu material — granular, with a hard texture. If a layer of Dragon Scale Soil were spread across the ground, from a distance it would resemble dragon scales layered one upon another.
Dragon Scale Soil formed naturally in the places where dragon-type desolate beasts, ancient desolate dragons, or even primordial desolate dragons had resided for long periods. Over time, the earth absorbed dragon qi and gradually transformed into this unique material.
Fang Yuan had purchased this soil in his earlier years. The reason was simple — with Dragon Scale Soil present, dragon fish would have a much stronger instinct to breed.
Now he was refusing all other rewards specifically to exchange for this Gu material, operating on the same reasoning.
"The time dilation of my Supreme Immortal Aperture has increased many times over, which has caused the resource output within the aperture to drop significantly."
"My immortal essence reserves are insufficient, and I lack immortal essence stones. As long as I expand the scale of resource production, I can alleviate the pressure."
After careful consideration, Fang Yuan designated dragon fish as the first resource to scale up.
Desolate beast dragon fish, as well as ordinary dragon fish, had always been a major commodity in the Bao Huang Heaven market.
Dragon fish themselves seemed to be a creation of the Food Path, and for many Gu Insects, they could serve as a substitute for part of the feeding requirements.
Not every Immortal Gu Master possessed Immortal Gu.
But every super force, at regular intervals, would purchase enormous quantities of dragon fish.
This was the primary direction of dragon fish sales on the Bao Huang Heaven market.
In the time that followed, Fang Yuan focused mainly on constructing a sea area.
Currently, the Little Eastern Sea within his Supreme Immortal Aperture was no longer the shallow shallows or small pools of the past. Because Fang Yuan had absorbed a large number of Water Path immortal apertures, the Little Eastern Sea could now be described as having rolling waves. While it wasn't particularly deep, from the surface it was a vast ocean.
There were virtually no islands, and the sea itself was featureless.
Fang Yuan's plan was to construct a Dragon Scale Sea Area.
An artificial sea area!
This was not Fang Yuan's innovation, nor was it his unique creation. In fact, among the Eastern Sea immortal Gu Master community, many Gu Immortals had long been constructing artificial sea areas.
On the current rankings of the Eastern Sea Gu Immortal world, many famous sea areas were artificial — built up step by step through sustained effort.
Of course, naturally formed sea areas still occupied the majority of the rankings.
Constructing a sea area by artificial means was no easy task.
Fang Yuan spent a tremendous amount of energy and time laying down Dragon Scale Soil, then built mortal-track Gu formations within the area, using the formations' power to seal off this stretch of sea into a special zone.
Only then did he introduce his original dragon fish schools into the sea area.
When the dragon fish entered this sea, they were indeed far more comfortable than before, and their mating activity increased considerably.
But this was not enough.
Next, Fang Yuan began preparing the Immortal Killer Move — Bountiful Harvest!
This Immortal Killer Move originated from Black Fan's True Inheritance. However, it had not actually been created by Black Fan — it came from a powerful Gu Immortal known as the Alchemy Immortal.
He had created this Immortal Killer Move, and Black Fan had later traded other resources to obtain it from him.
It was an exceedingly rare Immortal Killer Move designed specifically for managing an immortal aperture, possessing no offensive or combative power whatsoever.
Yet its practicality was remarkable. Even Black Fan himself had left notes within the contents of his True Inheritance, praising this Immortal Killer Move highly.
