While evading calculations, Fang Yuan wasn't idle — he took the opportunity to inspect his own Immortal aperture.
Five Regions and Nine Heavens.
The layout was extraordinary, already far beyond reason.
The original five hundred million mu of vast space was already shockingly immense; if anyone heard the figure, they would hardly believe it.
And now, Fang Yuan's Supreme Immortal aperture had already exceeded that five hundred million mu range.
This was entirely because, during the earlier period, he had slaughtered Gu Immortals on a massive scale and swallowed their Immortal apertures and blessed lands.
Due to the properties of the Supreme Immortal Body, Fang Yuan could completely absorb others' Immortal apertures and blessed lands, taking in every last Dao mark without waste.
The increase in these blessed lands added many special territories within his Supreme Immortal aperture.
Most of these territories were managed and regulated by their land spirits, saving Fang Yuan tremendous amounts of effort. They were like scattered pearls, strewn across the Five Regions and Nine Heavens.
"My Space Path resources are enormously abundant. Ordinary Gu Immortals go to every length trying to expand their own apertures, yet I have so much space that I can't even develop it all in time."
Fang Yuan was quite satisfied with this aspect, but his feelings about Time Path resources were an entirely different matter.
The time flow within his Supreme Immortal aperture had already decreased many times over.
It had originally been one to sixty — his Time Path resources had been so rich he practically had no peers!
But now that was no longer the case. He couldn't even meet ordinary standards.
There was no helping it.
Fang Yuan had changed his cultivation method. To delay the arrival of calamities, he had made this choice.
He employed the Time Path methods obtained from Black Fang's true inheritance to slow the time within his aperture. With fewer Time Path resources, his Immortal essence production plummeted accordingly. Not only that, but the yields from all other resources had also dropped by a massive margin.
He considered carefully.
Within the Little Central Continent, there was one Blood Mushroom Forest and one Mirror Willow Forest — both originating from Fox Immortal's blessed land, with a long history. In addition, a small Celestial Light Pit had been added.
This Celestial Light Pit housed various mortal Light Path Gu Insects in great numbers.
Fang Yuan had modeled it after the Liu family's Celestial Light Pit resource site in the Northern Wasteland, recreating it within his own aperture.
Not long ago, Fang Yuan had plundered the Celestial Light Pit, sweeping up every last Light Path mortal Gu Insect inside.
A portion of these Light Path Gu Insects had been placed into the Nine Heavens Extreme Light. The majority still remained, however, and couldn't be disposed of so easily.
Fang Yuan had no choice but to construct a small Celestial Light Pit to temporarily store this massive quantity of Light Path mortal Gu Insects.
Of course, this small pit couldn't compare to the real Celestial Light Pit. The latter was a true resource site, rich in Light Path Dao marks — any swarm of creatures placed inside would gradually be transformed and promoted into Gu Insects. The former, however, was something Fang Yuan had thrown together specifically to store Light Path mortal Gu, producing nothing at all.
The Little Central Continent was the least developed area within the Supreme Five Regions.
Above it was the Little Northern Wasteland.
In the Little Northern Wasteland, the terrain was flat, with most of its area blanketed in ice and snow, forming a snow plain.
But ice and snow were not the only colors.
On the eastern side near the Eastern Sea, there was a stretch of green-water shallows, with stones piled into special pools. Aquatic grasses grew in abundance, and spirit serpents made their home there.
These green-water shallows were originally the blessed land of Han Dong, a Transformation Path Gu Immortal. After Fang Yuan absorbed it, even the blessed land's land spirit — the Pink Spirit Serpent — came along with it, helping Fang Yuan manage this territory.
On the western side near the Western Desert, there was a Bone Burial Ground.
Mountains of bones were piled here — every type imaginable, from shoulder blades to leg bones to skulls, covering birds and beasts alike, containing many immortal materials of tremendous value.
This Bone Burial Ground was a resource site that Fang Yuan had seized from the Liu family.
After killing the Liu family Gu Immortal Liu Yong, he had directly transplanted the entire Bone Burial Ground into his own aperture.
Thus, he now had this resource point that produced Bone Path Gu Insects in abundance.
"However, compared to the original Bone Burial Ground, my version — while it has a vast quantity of bones — still can't match the original in Bone Path Dao marks. In the original site, even the surrounding land was saturated with Bone Path Dao marks. The Liu family could completely rebuild the Bone Burial Ground on that land."
Fang Yuan was well aware of this.
Of course, he had already taken the lion's share of the Bone Burial Ground pie — eighty percent of it. The real bulk was in the bones themselves.
The remaining twenty percent was the land and environment. The Liu family could rebuild the Bone Burial Ground without too much difficulty, but restoring it to its former standards would require a tremendous expenditure.
On the side facing Central Continent—
There was a sparse grassland, covered in various wild grasses and flowers, the most prominent being Blood Sickle Grass and Red Axe Flowers.
These too had come from Fox Immortal's blessed land.
This grassland was vast, far beyond what Han Dong's blessed land could compare to. Flocks of Pollen Rabbits, foxes, water wolves, Hide Pigs, and Venom Whisker Wolves were raised here, along with one Desolate Beast Fin Wolf and one Desolate Beast Great Horn Sheep that frequently roamed and foraged across the grassland.
The Little Western Desert had the highest temperatures.
This was because the majority of its Flame Path Dao marks were concentrated in this area. The land was mostly desertified.
There were three main resource points here.
The first was a pit where Ghost Fire Dragon Pythons were raised in large numbers, concentrated in one area.
The second was a Sand Gull Earth Beach.
This place produced Sand Gull Earth in abundance.
Sand Gull Earth was a Gu material — and, notably, an ingredient for the Immortal Gu Fortune Linking.
However, Fang Yuan no longer possessed the Fortune Linking Immortal Gu, so Sand Gull Earth had become a resource to sell, helping him obtain Immortal essence stones.
At the center of the Sand Gull Earth Beach lay the dead egg of a Heaven and Earth Sand Gull. Cracks covered its shell, and several small holes dotted its surface. Transparent egg white continuously seeped from the cracks and holes. Using the life essence within this egg, ordinary sand could be transformed into Sand Gull Earth.
The third was the Rot Black Swamp. This was the place formed after Fang Yuan survived a tribulation, suffused with Dark Path Dao marks. It had since been modified by Fang Yuan into a preliminary resource point for clearing out Dark Path Gu Insects, but as it had only just been established, production was extremely low.
Beyond these three resource sites, there were two blessed lands.
One was an Earth Path blessed land — a terrain of muddy swamps, home to five Desolate Beast Mud Monsters and various mortal Earth Path Gu, managed by a land spirit called Mud Dwarf.
The other was Liu Yong's Slave Path blessed land, home to over twenty canine-type Desolate beasts. Most of these beasts had been purchased by Fang Yuan from Treasure Yellow Heaven, because the original owner-recognition condition for Liu Yong's blessed land required twenty canine Desolate beasts. Among them were Liu Yong's own six Bone Armor Dogs. The entire blessed land was governed by a land spirit that took the form of a black curly-haired dog.
The Little Eastern Sea's level of development was comparable to the Little Western Desert.
Wu Yihai's blessed land was situated here.
It was a vast ocean, carefully cultivated by Wu Yihai. Within it dwelled three Ancient Desolate Beast Horned Divine Turtles, a massive colony of Ancient Desolate Plant Silent Corals, and six Desolate Beast White-Signal Blue-Feathered Gulls, all governed by a sea turtle land spirit.
