The duplicate chapters happened because the Qidian backend glitched.
I only just found out about it — readers flagged the issue and I came to check right away.
I was completely dumbfounded!
When I was uploading this chapter, it froze up, and then the backend said the upload failed and asked me to try again. So I re-uploaded it.
I never expected the result would be like this.
What should I do?
I can't let the readers who already paid for their subscriptions get the short end of the stick, right?
My plan is to take tomorrow's two scheduled updates along with today's final two chapters and do a comprehensive revision.
Chapter 243, "Blood Drained Dry," will be replaced with the content of Chapter 245, "Nightmare Steed."
Chapter 245, "Nightmare Steed," will be replaced with the content of tomorrow's first chapter.
And then I'll upload an entirely new chapter tomorrow on top of that.
Pretty perfect solution, don't you think?
